we've got thick clouds and rain showers passing through, though it's drying out in the lakes region, points north and monadnock region. so it's just the southeastern part of the state really that we've got this last bap of rain coming through. today was a cool one, take a look at the temperatures, especially in the northern part of the state, berlin you had a high temperature of 47 degrees. well below october standards for this time. 52 degrees in laconia was all we could muster, 59 in concord and low 60's manchester and nashua. here's where we tan now. basically we're at the highs for the day, 52 in laconia, 59 in concord and low 60's still manchester, nashua into portsmouth, rochester as well, and the monadnock region in the low 60's with the rain just about over and done with for you guys out in the western part of the state. but still pouring in a lot of areas from manchester and eastbound. up to the north things lightening up as well.
6:18 pm
i'll show you exactly where we have the heavier rain, it's now moving right along the 101 corridor. travel is slow from raymond, closer to exeter and hampton, portsmouth. you see the yellows and oranges on radar, that's indicating where some of this heavy rain is and this batch moving right over and along 101, probably getting into lee and durham and portsmouth within the next half-hour, rain probably picking up, and then finally wrapping up, you can see out by keene, alstead, his where things are wrapping up and very quickly, all of us will see that happening too. this is a cold front that's moving through and it's a long trailing cold front. look how far back it goes, all the way toward memphis and oklahoma. and it is a cold front. so behind it some much cooler air. tomorrow temperatures across the state likely won't even crack 60 degrees. so when you're out there doing your apple picking, checking out the foliage, you'll want your heavy jacket because it's going
6:19 pm
to feel cool and crisp, especially with the northwest wind that will be kicking in as well. rain showers the heaviest end during the early evening and then maybe a couple scattered showers. otherwise we'll be drying out and the clouds moving away, this is 7:00 a.m. on saturday morning. if you have early morning plans tomorrow you're back to the sunshine, but it's definitely going to feel cool. a few passing clouds in the afternoon on saturday, but a bright looking day, perfect for any outdoor activities. sunday, especially in the morning we'll have a few passing clouds, them we're back to full sunshine in the afternoon and that's when temperatures are going to start to warm up a little bit. speaking of the find, here's the latest report. peak conditions, especially when you get up into colebrook, pittsburgh, hearing that the drives along that area are just beautiful. and high color from lebanon up into berlin. the mount washington valley. for the rest of the state moderate color. tonight for friday night football, it's going to be a tough night to be sitting in the stands.

6:24 pm
that's become a pretty good league. >> game two of the american league divisional playoff series, rangers and blue jays, it was tied into the late innings and finally in the 14th inning the rangers were able to get a couple run as cross and go onto win this thing 6-4, so the rangers on the road take the first two games in the series, they are looking great in the post season. there are four games going on in major league baseball today. right now the royals were behind the astros, getting into the late innings. in milford, the pumpkin festival is going on, 26th year of that and they're parking everybody for that festival at milford high school. so between this football game and that pumpkin festival, should be a lot of people
