`man charged with murder will `soon be in the hands of a jury. `tristan wolusky is accused of `taking part in the murder in `madbury back in june of 2014. `i' m adam sexton. `prosecutors and the defense both `agree that he planned to rob the `victim, but the defense contends s star `witnesses that actually murdered `aaron wilkinson. `wmur' s ray brewer is live `outside the courthouse, where `closing arguments are wrapping `up right now. `ray: adam, there is scientific `evidence to consider in this `case, such as the number and `nature of stab wounds, and the `testimony of the medical examiner. but both the prosecution and defense are asking the jury to consider who told the truth when they took the stand. 19-year-old tristan wolusky faces a number of charges, including first and second degree murder. at the beginning of the trial, the defense conceded that he planned to rob his friend aaron wilkinson for money and drugs.

was his co-conspirators in the robbery, michael tatum and zachary pinette, that actually killed the madbury teen. tatum and pinette testified against wolusky in exchange for a plea deal. while the prosecution said in closing that wolusky is convicted by his own words of second degree murder, the defense said it was the words coming out of the prosecution' s star witnesses that are not to be believed. mark sisti: tatum and pinette are on a collision course with each other. they destroy themselves with their past statements. they destroy each other under oath before you, and they belie medical and scientific evidence. peter hinckley: his story, even though it' s a lie, proves his guilt of that degree of murder. he was not a bystander -- he was the initial aggressor, he was an active participant in what happened to aaron with the full realization of the extreme risk of which he put aaron in. ray: the prosecution is wrapping

home by the end of 2016. but the president, on the recommendations of his top commanders, will now leave as many as 5500 troops on the ground. it will be a two-fold mission, similar to the current one -- counterterrorism operations and training and assisting afghan forces. so why the shift in policy? top pentagon officials believed afghan forces were not ready to operate on their own. and there has been a recent surge in violence by the taliban and now isis. pres. obama: in key areas of the country, the security situation is still fragile and in some places, there is a risk of deterioration. karen: last month, taliban fighters took control of a key northern city. afghan forces battled back in kunduz with support from us airstrikes. but one strike was catastrophic. a hospital was hit, leaving 22 staffers from doctors without john f. campbell: a hospital was mistakenly struck. we would never intentionally target a protected medical facility.
