we're going to start to really cool off over the weekend. hayley: in a big way. the temperatures are going to be the highs that a lot of us will get to on sunday. a chilly start this morning. once we get there, before we get there, we have a couple of systems to move through that will bring us the chance for rain and snow showers. there was a live look in manchester. it is 47 degrees. 47 in nashua. about 44 in concord. look at 50's upper valley and up in the great north woods. all due to the clouds. they've been thicker in those areas overnight. that keeps the temperatures a little bit warmer typically. now there are a couple of scattered showers moving through. for the most part, they've been up to the north and in the upper valley. all of us run the risk of seeing scattered showers. the skies should clear out. mperatures will top out later this afternoon in the 50's statewide. i'll have more on the forecast for you in a couple of minutes. first for a look at the

office has ruled her death a homicide. new information in the case. good morning, ray. ray: good morning, erin. the ag's office says the medical examiners office determined that 57-year-old sue hutchinson was strangled and the prime suspect in her murder is a roommate, 36-year-old stephen andrade. hutchinson was last seen september 20th. her roommate disappeared the follows day. police say he shot himself in a hotel in massachusetts. this past sunday, family members reported a strange smell inside hutchinson's apartment in manchester. when police searched again, they found her body hidden in a crawl space behind a closet. investigators say there are challenges with cases like this. >> well, in any case where the suspect is deceased, it is difficult because the person who knows what happens can't give you

ray: the ag's office says they are still looking into the circumstances surrounding hutchinson and andrade's death. they are not commenting on any possible motive. reporting live in manchester, ray brewer, wmur news 9. erin: this morning fish and game officials say they will at least double the number of people searching for a missing hiker in the white mountains. officers say 64-year-old claire marie cocuzzo set out on a hike on october 5th from the mt. garfield trail head to bond cliff and back. she planned to return last weekend. officers have been searching from the air and the ground. they checked the amc huts in the area. sean: jury deliberations will continue in the murder trial of tristan wolusky. the man is charged with first and second degree

death of aaron will will will -- wilkinson. the defense claims those men died and wolusky didn't know they had brought knives and a machete. prosecutors allege he is the one that is lying. all three men worked together. ! a man from maine is dead after a pickup truck crashed in hampton falls yesterday morning. police say 71-year-old daniel alexander died at the hospital. his passenger was treated for non-life threatening injuries. it is not clear why the road. erin: new hampshire is getting more time to comply with the real id act. four states, including new hampshire, have not adopted the standards. starting sometime next year, non-compliant driver's license will not be enough to let you board an airplane. now homeland security says it will accept new hampshire licenses until june. because there's a new bill in concord to bring

the erin: parts of two major highways are closed after heavy rains triggered mud slides. hundreds of vehicles are stranded. many people are trapped in their homes. flooding started just before the evening commute. crews are working to clear the highways. the process could take all day. in some places, the mud is about five feet deep. in central texas, the problem there is a large wild fire that has consumed about three dozen homes and charred more than six square miles. starting this morning, firefighters will get air support from a massive jet tanker that can drop 12,000 gallons at a time. the fire is only about
