i' m deb davidson for 95.7 wzid. sean: police in hudson are looking for two people who targeted an elderly woman at the local walmart store. they seemed to be pretty experienced. ray brewer is live in hudson to explain how the robbers went through the woman' s purse. ray: good morning. hudson police are telling us that the man and woman appeared to target that 89-year-old woman at walmart yesterday afternoon. the man and the woman can be seen in surveillance photos from the store. the man distracted the victim and a female partner reached into her car and grabbed the wallet out of her purse. they also stole some personal items. they left in a silver, four-door hatchback. police think the man has experience with this sort of crime. >> we think it could be part of

who is traveling extensively, but definitely in the new england area now, and we are really hoping that some member of the public can recognize them from somewhere and help us identify who they are area ray: police say that both suspects appeared to be hispanic and in their 30' s. please get in touch with the hudson police if you have any information. sean: all right, ray, thanks. manchester police are confident they will make an arrest very soon in a shooting yesterday that sentiment to the hospital. neighbors reported hearing shots around noon. the man was dropped off at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot one. they think it was an isolated incident and that the suspect and victim know each other. a derry man faces charges after he shared images of child sex abuse. the charges against matthew

rettig include possession of child sex abuse images and distribution. investigators believe he used the apps kik and snapchat in these crimes. a littleton man will spend the next 7.5 years behind bars after admitting he gave retinol to a man who overdosed and died. 54-year-old michael millette sold the drugs to his friend edward martin, who died. >> it is a message statewide to get the message out that if you are going to deal drugs and people by from that, we are going to hold you accountable. >> sean: police say millette was a significant drug dealer in the area. taxes will go down per household next year, but it is a far cry from the $1.21 taxes would have

after the u.n. assembly general called on all countries to observe a truce during the 2016 olympics. refugees will compete under the national flag. around the world. house republicans have reached a budget deal at the white house aimed at avoiding a government shutdown and default. it was announced just before the midnight deadline last night. the house will vote on the deal tomorrow. the plan will also raise the debt ceiling and calls for $50 billion of budget relief in the first year, followed by $30 billion in the second year. whole foods is recalling two salads because they could have the styria. curry chicken salad and delhi pasta salad has been pulled off the shelves in seven northeast states. the salads were sold prepackaged, in salad bars, and in sandwiches and wraps.

questionable batches were sold between october 18th and october 22nd with a sell by date of october 23rd. walmart has applied to the faa to start testing drones outside. the company has been testing drones inside for months, but wants to test using them for home delivery in certain markets. for now, they want to use them to move products between distribution centers. amazon got federal approval earlier this year to start testing drones. black friday is just about a month away. it' s true. one major retail chain says it will not be open. recreational equipment inc. says it will close for both thanksgiving and the day after, saying that black friday "has gotten out of hand." the 12,000 employees will still get paid for those days and customers will be able to shop online. once they get through a page urging them to get outside and

ray brewer joins us live in hudson with what police say stands out about this duo. good morning. ray: good morning, sean. police telling us they believe especially the man. they say he definitely has some he did not seem nervous at all. as he was walking in the store, he took off his hat and looked up at the security camera as if to say, "catch me if you can." hudson police say these suspects targeted and 89-year-old woman at a walmart on monday afternoon. one got her attention, the other went through her purse. >> she was distracted by a male suspect asking her for help. while she was distracted, a female counterpart reached into her shopping cart and grabbed her wallet out of her purse. ray: the man is described as possibly hispanic in his 30' s

the house. the fire chief says it was likely caused by the spontaneous ignition of sawdust in a barrel. u.s. marshals are asking for help finding a man who sold heroin that led to another person' s death. felix aguilar is facing charges in connection with the 2014 death of thomas drake in atkinson. aliases. he was last known to be living in southern new hampshire, but also has ties in massachusetts. nicolas austin was arrested earlier this year in connection with drake' s death. the cdc has issued an advisory to health departments around the country regarding an increase in it shows a significant increase seizures nationwide over the last two years. came from just 10 states.

i just showed him and then he ran out the door. sean: that is what happened. police do not recommend that anyone confront an armed person, but they are pleased that no one was hurt. the man accused of brutally attacking a bedford couple inside their home is facing new charges. a grand jury indicted charles normil on aggravated felonious sexual assault and a third charge of attempted sexual assault. he committed the crimes in 2012, when he allegedly invaded the home of a doctor and his wife. he is serving a 25-year sentence for breaking into a woman' s apartment in massachusetts and pistol whipping her. a milford man has pleaded guilty to robbing a bank in stratham. 33-year-old seamus murphy held up the citizens bank and now faces 25 years in prison. he will be sentenced in january. a manchester woman is accused of

car crossed the centerline and slammed into the cement truck. a man driving behind them rushed to help the children. >> i saw the little boy still in the car seat, so i get the boy out. he was coming in and out of consciousness. i hold the baby for quite a while. while i was getting the two-year-old out and i saw the other baby, the eight-month-old -- crushed up against the door and the seatbelt. sean: police say the two-year-old suffered serious injuries in the crash. the eight-month-old was critically injured and is now on life support. a murder suspect in new mexico is blaming the tv show "the walking dead" for his actions. damon parry told police the killing happened when he was bench watching episodes of the tv show. he claimed he thought his friend was turning into a zombie so he allegedly beat him with an electric guitar and microwave

>> it is pretty crazy. i didn' t think anybody would doing something like that from watching "the walking dead." it is sad to hear about that that is what our youth is coming to these days. lot of alcohol the night of the murder. airline passengers will no longer be able to pack bags under a new federal rule. it is meant to protect planes from in-flight fires. passengers will be allowed to pack them in their carry-on bags, but they will not be allowed to recharge the devices while on the plane. the department of transportation says there have been 46 incidents since 2009 -- 26 incidents since 2009. the rule goes into effect within the next two weeks. this is the week when the celtics and bruins are in their regular-season schedules.

you notice a lot of 20' s on the map. you will notice mid-20' s all the way back to the merrimack valley early on. you get a little farther north and these are the types of mornings that really frees the ground and make it that type of lawn that has that concrete feel to it when you walk on it each afternoon over the next several months. a few upper teens in the north country. a lot of folks in the 20' s as you walk out the door. a lot of areas back into the 50' s this afternoon. yesterday, in the north country, you were in the 40' s. temperatures will approach 50 by midafternoon. mid-50' s for a lot of areas south of the mountains. light wind with the fall sunshine. it will feel good through the afternoon. temperatures tonight will not fall off quite as much thanks to the approaching system and the high clouds. there will be a lot of 30' s as you start off the day tomorrow.
