s school graduate owen labrie will serve a year in jail in connection to the sexual assault of an underclassman as part of a tradition known as the senior salute. good evening, i' m shelley walcott. tom: i' m tom griffith. before learning his punishment, owen labrie heard from the wmur' s kristen carosa has more from today' s sentencing. kristen: the victim in this case statement before labrie was sentenced. she spoke about how this has impacted her life and why she is fighting so hard for justice. >> to this day i still feel numb. >> appearing by video, the girl who was sexually assaulted by her st. paul' s classmate owen labrie recalls the day it >> i will never understand why the offender raped me. >> labrie has been sentenced to one year in jail and 5 years of probation. the victim says what labrie did
