tatum pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in exchange for their testimony against tristan wolusky. the men were armed with knives and a machete in june of last year when delivered the 18-year-old from his home with the intent of robbing him of money and drugs, but then killed him and dumped his body on a road in maine. charges of first-degree murder were dropped as part of the plea deal. tristan wolusky was convicted of first-degree murder for his role in the killing. zachary pinette and michael tatum will be sentenced separately today, but the state is recommending 30 years to life in prison for each. tristan wolusky will be sentenced later this month or next month. reporting in the studio, ray brewer. sean: thanks. a man wanted for violating his parole after serving time for his role in the murder of an epson police officer is due in court this morning. kevin paul was arrested in boston is a fugitive from

he was released on parole in may, but investigators think he is part of a burglary ring in new hampshire that involves the theft and trading of guns. he served 17 years in prison for standing by as gordon perry shot and killed epsom officer jeremy charron in 97 and then fired at police during the getaway. police in vermont are waiting for autopsy results to find out how a man in dead -- found dead in his home died. thomas casey and william roberts had been drinking together sunday night and then got in a fight. roberts says he found casey dead when he woke up on monday morning. police say he is cooperating. erin: it is official. ted gatsas has won another term as mayor of the city of manchester. more than 20,000 votes were recounted yesterday and the final result show gets us to

he died in 1963. mark mclynch received the purple heart for injuries he suffered in afghanistan in 2010. vietnam vet ray vercoe of laconia earned his medals for service as a combat engineer. >> for those to serve, it means a lot to get some recognition, especially from the vietnam era. >> it is a belated honor and it gives us a sense of closure. >> i did not do it for the awards are metals. i wanted to serve and i did. erin: we thank all of them for their service. senator jeanne shaheen was instrumental in helping the veterans receive this recognition. sean: there is something new in manchester veterans park. volunteers tied 75 handmade scarves around trees in the park with notes attached said "this

to customers in the automak sean: sean:look at this. dramatic video shows landslides in china. you can see the ground giving way and flowing across highways. no one was hurt. many roads are closed. officials say it could take a week to clear the dirt. there are concerns that the slides could continue.

the president of the university of missouri system has signed, along with the chancellor of the flagship campus. president tom walsh took full responsibility for the frustration expressed by students. black student groups have complained that the president was unresponsive. the situation came to a head over the weekend when nearly three dozen black football players announced they would not play until he left. erin: volkswagen is offering $1000 in gift cards to owners affected by the massive emissions scandal. they will get $500 gift cards that can be spent anywhere. there is another $500 gift card for dealerships. owners will also get three years of roadside assistance for free. this comes after the automaker admitted to cheating on emissions test.

a third man was convicted of first-degree murder. ray brewer joins us live in our studio with the details. ray: zachary pinette and michael tatum struck a plea deal in exchange for their testimony against tristan wolusky. tristan wolusky was found guilty last month on all charges, including first-degree murder, for the stabbing death of 18-year-old aaron wilkinson. all three men drove to his house on june 21, 2014 armed with two knives and a machete. authorities say they ended up killing him, wilkinson stabbed more than 20 times. prosecutors claim it was tristan wolusky who called the victim and asked him to meet them outside. he will be sentenced later this month or early next month. zachary pinette and michael tatum will both learn their fate' s today after pleading guilty to second-degree murder. their hearings are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. this

the state has recommended 30 years to life in prison for each man. wmur news 9. erin: hillary clinton continues her campaign swing through new hampshire today. she filed yesterday to have her name on the primary ballot. in nashua, she was endorsed by the league of conservation voters, a washington-based environmental group. she finished the day with a town hall meeting at windham heist where she talked -- high school defended planned parenthood. differences i see with their republican counterparts is their all-out attack on human rights and women' s rights and civil rights and gay rights and voting it is quite astonishing. erin: today, clinton is planning to attend events at derry and dartmouth college in hanover.

rand paul will all be in concord two other names to the republican primary ballot. sean: a farmington man is recovering after being hit by a pickup truck in rochester. 44-year-old kevin henderson was crossing the street in a crosswalk when he was it. he was taken to the hospital with nonlife threatening injuries. police say the driver didn' t stop at the scene. erin: sean: fish and game officers came to the rescue of a man who got stuck on mount washington. a 24-year-old massachusetts man decided to hike alone yesterday. he started to cramp up on a steep part of the trail and decided to call 911. fish and game officers attached a line to him and pulled him to safety. sean: a windham woman who says

christina ruhle has shared her well. she alleged that cosby drugged her and assaulted her in 1965. he is suing cosby in federal statement made after that article. she said the statement called her and other accusers liars. more than 50 women have accused cosby of sexual assault. allegations. erin: the man accused of trying to object 18 -- a teen -- abd yesterday. police say he was stopped and searched in the parking lot description of a suspect. defense lawyers say he did not

consent to a search and all the evidence found was illegally seized. prosecutors say that have eventually been uncovered. the judge took the issue under advisement. sean: in light of the heroin epidemic, the bedford police department is hosting a substance abuse summit tonight. police will be discussing the threat posed by substance abuse, particularly harrowing -- heroin , and what needs to be done about the issue. erin: merrimack police have issued a coyote alert after an increase in sightings. animal control officers say the sightings are neo a neighborhood -- near a neighborhood that backs up onto conservation land. a woman living your french court reported that her small dog was taken two months ago and she has seen more coyotes since then. police say they spot coyotes all

kevin: we start out with temperatures in the low and mid 20' s. showers start to creep into the southern areas later today. we start cooling off with the next system. i have the details coming up. sean: we are following a developing story out of the nations capital. the justice department is reviewing a court ruling against the president' s immigrations actions. what does the ruling mean and what could happen next? >> basically, this ruling is a big setback to president obama' s plan to protect 5 million people from being to forward it. a texas judge originally blocked the administration' s initiative and a federal appeals court has upheld a decision.

it could now appealed to the supreme court. the justice department says it is determining how to proceed. sean: with the president leaving office in a little more than a year from now, what are the chances it will make it through the court by then? >> the prospects are pretty slim that president obama' s immigration actions could be implemented before he leaves office simply because of all of these court challenges. hypothetically, it could get bumped back down to that texas court that originally ruled on it or, if the administration appeals to the supreme court, it is possible that the high court could take it up this term, in which case, a decision could come by next term. erin: the world is hoping to bring in -- seaworld is ending killer whale shows edit san

[laughter] sean: i hope you get cake for $50. kevin: are there people on the cake? temperatures in the lower 30' s and 40' s. for the rest of us, temperatures have dropped back into the 20' s and 30' s early this morning. we have increasing high clouds into the afternoon. for southern areas of the state, the better chance of a shower later on this afternoon. maybe in time for the evening commute in our border towns. a lot of this is centered around the overnight hours tonight and for the first you daylight hours tomorrow. temperatures are in the 30' s early this morning. there are some 20' s out there in the lower line valleys. maybe just a little bit of valley fog.

we are looking at temperatures to jump back into the 50' s for one more afternoon with a very light wind. i temperatures going to try to make it run to near 60 in southern areas. clouds probably shut that off into the afternoon, holding temperatures in the mid-to-upper 50' s. for the north, you will enjoy a little more sun. a little farther to go to get near 60. fair skies late this afternoon and then the rain chances start to move in. we could be looking at a third to a half-inch of rain fall from this system. a little bit of a break tomorrow night and, early on thursday, the next system moves through. more scattered showers are a possibility in rain form night. the cooler air starts to rush in behind that system and it is not all in rain form and there could be mixed shower activity friday night and early saturday.
