brandi hitt: a horrific night in harris as the death toll continues to rise from the coordinated attacks. one of the sites, a landmark concert hall full of hostages. we just learned a total of eight militants have been killed, seven by suicide belts. the streets look like a battlefield as armed men struck multiple targets. more than 100 have been killed after an unknown to -- number of terrorist attack. -- attacked. >> we heard multiple gunshot. -- gunshots. was at this theater. the gunman took many concertgoers. an american band was performing. >> they heard the gunfire, and said it was louder than what they were playing. they heard screaming and yelling. brandi hitt: security brush the

concertgoers could see -- be seen with hands on their heads. one of the gunman tom -- tossed explosives at the hostages. a crowded restaurant was also among six locations under fire. >> all of the sudden there were loud gunshots. they were bullets coming to the windows. i was holding onto the woman next to me, she had been shot in the chest. brandi hitt: as police scramble, stuns parisians ran for shelter. president obama promised to stand with the french people. president obama: this is an attack on all humanity and the values we share. brandi hitt: no one has claimed responsibility, it is unknown if more attacks were planned.

tom: dartmouth college runs a study abroad program in paris. this evening, the college told us the professor and the seven in touch with families. the college says they are closely. shelley: tonight officials are trying to confirm whether the man shown in videos, beheading two journalists is dead. syria. one of the journalist was james foley. his parents say words that their son' s killer may be dead brings little solace. they are still frustrated by government' s misguided focus. >> it is a somber time. the bombing in paris, the bombing in syria. my fear -- fear is that violence begets more violence.

we are very, very close with him. mike: saturday morning, those close with him will meet at the continue looking for him. investigators will also resume the search. >> we want him home safe. whether that means he keeps going to school, or takes time off. he has great friends here for him. mike: plymouth police have been following up on anonymous tips. anyone with information is asked to give them a call. mike cronin, wmur news 9. shelley: disturbing new details revealed in court today when the mother of a 17-year-old found dead from a drug overdose faced a judge along with the mothers boyfriend. they told investigators what happened inside a rochester hotel. jean mackin joins us live. jean: this court paperwork documents the story told to

how eve was found dead and the adults in the motel room with her say they waited to call 911. -- she appeared in court friday morning. the mother faces two felonies that could each carried time in prison. that was after her daughter was found dead from a overdose in october inside the riviera hotel. her mother' s boyfriend, mark ross is charged with giving the fatal dose to the teenager. according to court paperwork, ross told investors he spent $80 on what he thought was heroin, not sentinel -- phentinol because she was upset her boyfriend did not show up. they say she was slumped over in bed, they knew she was dead. he told investigators he threw out needles from room 117 and it took time to call 911 because jasmine would not wake up.

on white mountain highway just before noon. police say the man had a semi-automatic gun, which he pointed at tellers and other customers. he got away with cash. witnesses say he was wearing a blonde wig, and sunglasses a , white hooded sweatshirt, dark tight pants, and dark ugg-style boots. sandown police are investigating after a school bus was shot this morning. the bus driver was the only one -- person on board when she heard what she thought was a gunshot while traveling down 10021a. the shot hit the front driver side near the windshield. she was not hurt. police say this is a wooded stretch of road and are investigating whether the shot came from a hunter. the top seeded goffstown -- announcer: now, chief meteorologist mike haddad. mike: we did see some partial sunshine at times, more in southern sections, and more in the way of cloud cover further to the north.
