m stephanie woods. isis has claimed responsibilities for the attacks. one suspect escaped and is on the run. let' s go to marcy gonzales who is live in paris with the latest. marci: a quiet night in paris after absolute panic earlier today. the sound of what turned out to be fireworks sent people running into the streets, ducking into restaurants for cover. this is a city on edge. tonight, mementos of mourning spilling into the sidewalks s terror. one of the men police say is responsible for the attacks is french authorities, launching an international manhunt for one of the possible gunmen who sprayed bullets and to crowded restaurants. he is one of three terrorists

who investigators say did not die in the attacks. the two others who escaped, possibly using this getaway car, including one of abdeslam' s brothers. >> there is a specific unit on the organization chart of isis for external attacks. marci: officials say isis commanders planned and directed this attack, sending one of the paris killers from syria to blend in with refugees arriving in greece. the french air force responded tonight, dropping more than 20 bombs on the isis capital of raqqa, as the manhunt continues and the heartbreak pierces from paris to california. >> she' s in my heart come and i think she' s going to be in everyone else' s heart, too.

in europe, while in france, a state of emergency remains in effect. back to you. stephanie: thank you so much. the deadly attacks in paris hit close to home for many in new hampshire. a couple vigils were held today to remember the victims and pray for peace. mike cronin joins us live in the studio with the outpouring of love for those who died friday. mike: a couple dozen gathered at a french park in nashua to reflect on what happened, and tonight at saint anselm college, students gathered together in thought and prayer, shocked by the brutality of what happened in paris. >> people appreciate a common celebration to both reflect together, but also to turn to god and the higher power. mike: more than 100 students came together for a candlelight vigil on campus to remember the

victims of the paris terrorist attacks. at the schools sunday night mass, the horrific events weighed heavy on people' s minds. >> the care and compassion we have for those who have been harmed, that is what i' ve been trying to emphasize. mike: earlier in the day, people sang the french national anthem and showed support for paris. the english translation of this park name is the park of renewal. >> so many people around the world, it' s so nice. mike: eric who is from france had family living in the area where the attacks happened. >> these people are really attacking the whole civilized world. >> we are very familiar with the area. it' s quite sad for the famil who have lost their lovedi ones. mike: in manchester, students

it was a nice weekend after a rainy and to the week. right now, a cool night in portsmouth where it is 42 degrees. still lit up in the red, white, and blue of the french flag. hayley lapoint tells us about some sunshine to start your work week. hayley: it' s going to be beautiful. tomorrow, just like it. here' s a look at the temperatures we are dipping to. 37 in laconia. the big difference and why you are in the 40' s up north, the clouds. those are helping to keep the temperatures a little bit warmer for the communities north of plymouth. into littleton, colebrook, it will be a little bit warmer during the overnight due to the clouds. here is what you can expect tomorrow. 40' s up north. 50' s in central and southern new hampshire with winds out of the northwest between 5-15 miles per hour. we will continue to have a lot of sunshine through the early part of the week. then things are going to change in a big way.

more on the forecast in a couple minutes. stephanie: starting monday, granite staters in need will get a helping hand with heating bills. new hampshire fuel assisting program helps disadvantaged families and seniors heat their homes. eligible families have an annual income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline and could receive about $650 a year. the program served 35,000 households last year. a plymouth state university student remains missing after disappearing thursday. 23-year-old jake non-was last seen by the common man inn in plymouth. fish and game have suspended their search for now, but they will go back out as more tips coming. jake' s friends and family are not losing hope. jake' s stepdad is pleading with him to give word he' s ok. >> we are just worried. all i can really say is, jake come if you see this, call us.

stephanie: jake' s mom is asking people to live in plymouth to check outdoor sheds and storage spaces. she says jake might be looking for shelter. keene police are looking for a man who stole a donation jar full of money intended for a local seven-year-old girl with disabilities. karen has a spinal injury. the beaver street market in keene had the jar. yesterday, a young woman stole the jar, making off with $20 to $30 in change. >> i was very upset, obviously, because it is morally wrong. how do you still from a child? stephanie: the theft suspect is described as a young woman, very thin, with darker brown hair.

stephanie: the annual fundraising walk and run in manchester is called stache dash and honors all men battling the disease. the event raised more than $6,000, and all of that will go towards prostate cancer research. >> one in six men get prostate cancer. one in eight women get breast cancer. this is a significant walk to us. i lost my dad three months ago, and i' m just carrying on his wishes to get the blue ribbon. year' crowd they have had yet. and a new ski jump is being school. the old jump built in 1979 was torn down due to safety concerns, but the community came together to build a new one, and it is set to be complete by thanksgiving. it community workday was held saturday. more than 40 people came to help. >> had about 20 contractors that give up their day to work, and an additional maybe 20 other

people who had very good construction skills. stephanie: a fundraiser is scheduled for monday night at the flying monkey in plymouth. world champion and olympic ski jumper sarah hendrickson is expected to attend. two democratic executive counselors say new hampshire can build a passenger rail from boston to manchester for less than $5 million a year.the construction would last 20 years and cost the state 72 million dollars in total, but the proposal also depends on it $162 million in private investments, massachusetts money, and federal funds. executive count -- the executive counselors say the new train route would create jobs and boost economic growth. some of santa' s little helpers created care packages in epping are those who serve their country and keep us safe. the marine corps family foundation once again held operation santa 603, an event that gathers food and goodies

this photo of the sky taken today in wakefield, new hampshire, and those are contrails from planes flying high up in the atmosphere and the fuel freezing because they are flying so high up that it freezes. these cool clouds, you see those smooth clouds. those are called lenticulars. those were spotted in londonderry with the beautiful sunshine. not only did we get the sun and got some warmth. yesterday, our high temperatures s. today, we got into the 50' s. amherst got to 56 degrees. 55 in win 10. exit her, 54. tomorrow will be very similar, maybe a degree or two ko hler -- cooler. here is where we sit right now,

46, rochester. differences between cities is because where clouds have been hanging out. where you have clouds, temperatures will be warmer. where it' s clear, you don' t have that blanket to keep the heat, so the cool settles in. you can see that on satellite where you' ve got the clouds, mainly from the notches and up to the north. elsewhere we' d been clearing out. it will likely be coolest in central and southern new hampshire doing -- during the overnight hours. the jet stream, which is basically on top of us, it' s a river of air 40,000 feet to 50,000 feet above our heads. it' s the dividing line between cooler and more mild air to the south.

for the school bus stop, and by recess and the last bell, temperatures climb into the upper 40' s, low 50' s. sunshine tuesday and wednesday, and thursday and friday is when we have a changing system come through. that will bring in rain showers and so much cooler air by next weekend. no snow in the forecast yet. i know we are starting to really think about that as we head into late november, but nothing on the forecast yet. stephanie: we are starting to knock on wood. get it, stephanie woods? i will be happier when it' s december. we will be happier when all of our patriots are healthy again. . another win for the pats, but another loss.
