this is video from halifax, nova scotia where a flight made an emergency landing there tonight. another flight bound for paris from los angeles was diverted to salt lake city, utah. the u.s. government officials as a bomb threat was called in on the ground for the los angeles flight. both planes did land safely. good evening, i' m tom griffith. shelley: i' m shelley walcott. authorities are searching for a second terrorist. elizabeth hur is in new york with the latest. >> police sounding the alarm and hurting people -- ordering people to go home. police found nothing but the german team not taking any chances. after playing in paris last week when the suicide bomber struck.

the paris attacks, he is believed to be back in syria, a country now under attack by france, russia, and the u.s. tom: as the world debates the best strategy for attacking isis, journalist executed by the terror group testified before congress today. diane foley is demanding documented proof that america' s current policy of not negotiating with terrorists wmur' s adam sexton joins us live from the newsroom with more from her testimony. adam: diane foley wants the u.s. to rethink its longstanding policy of not engaging with terrorists, calling on congress for evidence that it actually saves american lives. in washington tuesday diane foley testified before the house foreign affairs committee recounting the nearly 2-year ordeal her family endured when her son james was held hostage and eventually murdered by isis. she says they reached out in

remarkable advances made in the case. jean: the national center for missing and exploited children says this is the only case it has ever assisted on with 4 unidentified victims. now investigators are confident the woman and 3 children were living in new england right before their deaths. these composites have been redone. jean investigators revealed the : new images of the woman and 3 children whose identities remain a mystery. >> they were killed at the same time, and this time period has been narrowed down to sometime between 1980-1984. jean in 1985, the first metal : drum was found in the woods in allenstown. inside, the bodies of a woman between 22 and 33-years-old, and a girl, 9 or 10-years-old. in 2000, a second barrel was discovered not far away. inside, the remains of two younger children, girls between 2 to 4-years-old. investigators say all are

homicide victims, all killed at the same time. forensics show the woman is related to 2 of the children, most likely a mother and 2 daughters. different family. the study of isotopes, chemicals absorbed in hair, bones and teeth, provides geographic clues. >> the 3 victims that are related, we do know they were born and raised together. they lived together in the same geographic area, most likely new hampshire or one of the surrounding states, and this is a non-related child. she was born and raised separately, and most likely she came from an area that as more northern and inland. like northern new hampshire, northern vermont, upstate new york but even as far west as, say, michigan. jean but investigators say all : the victims lived together in the same area in the few weeks or months right before their deaths. >> the friends and family members of these victims are

there. we just need to find them. jean: investigators say 30 years ago, friends or family might have been told the victims moved, even went overseas. now they' re hoping these new images and new science will lead to new clues. anyone with information can call 1-800-the-lost. live in the studio, jean mackin, wmur news9. shelley: tonight, serious accusations have surfaced against the goalie for the manchester monarchs. court paperwork alleges he strangled his girlfriend. and the charges don' t stop there. goalie patrik bartosak on legal defense tonight, now facing charges of domestic assault, and making threats against his girlfriend. the alleged incident happened yesterday, at this apartment complex in manchester. bartosak is facing a felony charge of second-degree assault, for allegedly strangling his girlfriend. the 22-year-old is also facing seven simple assault charges for

girlfriend, pushing her against a wall, and slapping her. bartosak is also charged with 3 counts of criminal threatening, and stalking his girlfriend at the mall of new hampshire where she works. bartosak played for the american hockey league' s manchester monarch for the 2013:14 and 2014:2015 seasons. he moved with the team to california, his home address now listed in the cit yof rancho cucamonga. he returned to new hampshire, just last friday to play with the echl' s monarch' s, the farm team for ahl team, now known as the ontario reign. he was the starting goalie in sunday night' s game. the manchester monarchs did release a statement on bartosak' s arrest, that reads, this is a very serious matter and these allegations represent a type of behavior we do not stand for. we will continue to gather information and comment further when appropriate. bartosak is now free on $10,000

tom: no one was hurt when a driver went right into a building in londonderry this afternoon. firefighters say the car drove reilly auto parts and all the way to aisle three. car was in park but it was actually in drive. a building inspector determined there wasn' t any structural damage. police in massachusetts say a s door mid-flight will be charged. shelley: the woman from poland will be charged with interfering with a flight crew. the british airways flight was heading from london to boston this afternoon. massachusetts state police don' t s behavior had

part of the merrimack rally. that' s what happens when you get very dry air and light winds in place with clear skies. temperatures tumble and the cold air pulls right into the valleys while the air mass itself is not all that frigid. tomorrow a lot of sunshine of near 50, but a different story tonight. upper teens in concord, the coldest so far this season has been 19 back on october 19. it looks like tomorrow will be down to 16 or 17 and 20' s at the coast. off to the west is warming up nicely and by later tomorrow afternoon and into thursday and friday, a little piece of this will roll into our direction. upper 40' s to around 50 tomorrow. temperatures will not be that bad thursday night into early friday. cold enough for snow on the backside of this storm, so by the time the system pulls away, we will be dealing with the
