attacks is confirmed dead. this as more raids are carried out in belgium. abc' s marci gonzalez is live in paris where the state of three months as requested by president francois hollande. marci: good afternoon. police are trying to ratify the woman who blew herself up during yesterday' s rate if you' this investigation is so far from over. his body so riddled with bullets and shrapnel, investigators could only identify him by his fingerprints. the so-called mastermind of the attack here that killed 129 people, abdelhamid abaaoud, killed during this dramatic siege in the suburbs of paris yesterday. abaaoud was a petty criminal police say was also behind other isis plots, including the attempted attack on a paris-bound train earlier this

french authorities thought the 27-year-old was in syria. they' re now looking into how he was able to sneak across borders into france to lead this terror cell that investigators say was planning another attack. >> it is urgent for europe to should come together organized to defend itself from terrorist threat. marci police still searching for : two suspects, including salah abdeslam, believed to be the gunman shown in this disturbing video from the dailymail.com in the surveillance images from inside this cafe , you see the killer shooting his ak-47 from the hip diners ducking for cover and as he takes aim at this woman crouching in fear, abdeslam' s assault rifle seems to jam. that woman and everyone else in the cafe survives. the state of emergency here has now been officially extended for three months as france' s prime minister warned lawmakers today of the possibility here of a chemical attack in belgium. marci gonzalez, abc news, paris.

adam: lawmakers are set to vote screening for refugees coming to the u.s. and president obama is already threatening a veto. the bill is aimed at increasing screening for syrian and iraqi refugees. it would require them to undergo fbi background checks. some democrats say the measure republican leaders insist it' s not a religious test. in commitment 2016, right now republican candidate jeb bush is of state' s office to officially add his name to the new hampshire primary ballot. in about an hour, george pataki will be following suit. dr. ben carson will become the last major presidential candidate to file tomorrow. the filing period closes tomorrow. a plea deal for the man charged with killing his parents and then setting their house on fire. according to court paperwork, matthew dion is set to plead guilty to two counts of second degree murder and a single count of arson. wmur' s ray brewer is live outside the dion' s former home, and ray, dion was also facing additional charges, including

what is going to happen to those? ray: well, adam, under the terms of the plea bargain, all other charges will be dropped. however, a nephew of the murdered couple says this plea bargain does give the family what they were looking for. the notice came in a court filing, matthew dion is parents and set their home on fire. robert and constance dion were killed back in march of 2014, their home set ablaze days the dion' s remaining family says they were consulted on the plea deal. roger mitchell: our biggest concern was making sure that he does not get out of prison, that he would spend the rest of his life in there, which this pretty covers that. ray: under the terms of the plea deal, dion, who is 40-years-old, would be sentenced to two consecutive sentences of 30 years to life. the arson sentence of seven and a half to 15 years would run

concurrent with the other sentences. the murder indictments say that matthew dion did knowingly cause the death of robert dion by strangling him and/or striking him in the head. as for his mother, matthew dion did knowingly cause the death of constance dion by strangling her. roger: we just kind of want to know why. what happened? ray: roger mitchell says the family still doesn' t understand what set his cousin off. that his aunt and uncle had some problems with their adopted son matthew, but they never saw this coming. roger: i know they' ve had their difficulties with him and stuff but never thought something like this would have happened. ray: dion is set to plead guilty on december 3rd. mitchell anticipates the sentencing will provide some comfort to the family. roger: hopefully at least we' ll get answers, and it will just make it easier to understand what happened to them. ray: mitchell says that in the event that their questions are not answered, prosecutors have agreed to sit down with the they can. reporting live in manchester,

adam: ray, thank you. another fugitive is back in custody this noon. mark george was first arrested burglary in kingston but climbed out a window of the police he was later found in massachusetts but then never showed up to court. u.s. marshals finally tracked him down in lawrence, massachusetts. new this noon, senator shaheen is applauding the decision by the u.s. air force to allow the city of portsmouth to lead the design and construction of a system to remove contaminants from water supplied by three wells at pease international tradeport. contaminants were first discovered in the wells in may of 2014, but at this time, it' s have on those who were exposed to them. senator shaheen says this partnership will be critical in restoring the trust in the water supply. turning to the weather, this is a live look from portsmouth where you have got clouds and, you know, gray skies there. kevin skarupa, this is one of the days where we will have rain

adam: new developments this noon in the case against a former subway pitchman. jared fogle is scheduled to be sentenced for sex-crimes. today in court, fogle formally plead guilty to the charges. fogle admits to paying for sex with girls as young as 16. prosecutors want the 38-year-old to serve 12 and half years in prison. thousands of airport workers across the country, including in boston, are on strike. they want new contracts providing medical benefits and at least $15 an hour. most of the workers are subcontracted by outside companies to work with airlines

well, today is the great american smokeout. it' s the 38th year in which the american cancer society encourages smokers to kick their habits. about 42 million americans smoke cigarettes, and tobacco-use remains the single largest preventable cause of disease and premature death in the u.s. here in new hampshire, 2015 data shows that coos county has the highest percentage of smokers. followed by sullivan county and strafford county. merrimack county has the lowest percentage. president obama recently told "g.q." magazine that he hasn' t had a cigarette in 5 years. he says he made a promise that once the affordable health act passed, he would never have a cigarette again. the weather phenomenon known as el nio is making a return this winter. the last time new hampshire had a strong el nio winter, this is what we saw, ice and widespread power outages. so could we be in for a repeat of last year' s long winter with more than 100 inches of snow? meteorologist hayley lapoint

diane: it is really -- we have got diane souther here. diane: it is really easy purity like brownies. two cups of flowers, some eggs that have been beaten up -- two cups of flour, some eggs that have been beaten up, a teaspoon of vanilla for flavoring, teaspoon of salt, and what next the so moist isn' t set of the cooking oil, we add a cup of applesauce. stir it up. it is like a thickness almost like a brownie recipe. it stays a little lumpy -- it does not smooth out like a cake recipe. you put diced apples in at the end. keep the knife and chunky. it keeps them moist as well. if you are doing this, you can

this recipe calls for a whole one, which will do a 9x13 pan, nice and deep. pour it in, spread it out, put it in the oven at 350 for about 45 minutes. it is a great go-two recipe. the last minute, if you have not made enough pies, this is something you can pull out and have. it works great as a hostess gifts, also great for brunch and breakfast. adam: do you like anything on top of it? diane: maple syrup, honey, with screen, but it is not needed. this is my mother' s goto recipe, when she needed something to say to the neighbors, this is what she made up. adam: it is a bumper crop for apples this year. diane: we are getting near the end. the farm stand close of the day before thanksgiving, so we are open another week.
