slopes and not on the roads. breton woods hopes to open on tuesday. loon plans to open at the slopes on wednesday. at loon about a dozen people fired up the snow tabuns overthe weekend making the snow on 11 trails working from the top down. their targeted opening was a little later than last year. mid november is still fairly normal for loon to have enough snow. it takes a lot of work to get everything ready. >> we've been preparing ifer this season since we shut down the system at the end of last season. there's literally nine months of may maintenance and preparation for this weekend. >> temperatures are forecasted to be cold and great. yeah. we're all looking forward to wednesday. that's what we plan on. ray: now it is not clear how many trails will be open when the ski resort opens. that all depends on the weather. several ski areas in new hampshire hope to open by the end of next weekend.
