streets. wmur -- wmur' s jennifer crumpton found out what started the fire. jennifer: the call came into the dover fire department at 2:4 6 a.m.. it took them just three minutes a get there. it likely made a huge difference in the outcome. other than a few broken windows and some burned pots on the ground, it is argued till at there was a fire in the four unit building at 29 new york street earlier thursday. the neighbors say it was chaos. evil were spilling onto the street along with several dogs living in each of the units. the fire remains under investigation and it is believed to have been started by upstairs unit. and coming up, we will talk the life. s debt of three shooting at fenway park. dozens of people ran for safety

brian johnson was indicted last week on charges connected to a false bomb threat at millis high school made on the same day to a false -- that he was suspected of staging a shootout with a motorist who did not exist. investigators will conduct an autopsy to figure out how johnson died. jen: a method jumped over the white house fence today has been arrested. he made it over the fence while wrapping himself in an american flag. he was carrying an envelope. it took secret service just a few minutes to stop the man. the first family is at the white house today for thanksgiving. chicago is bracing for another day of protests following the release of a video from a deadly police shooting. some activists, including reverend jesse jackson, have called for a massive black friday march along a popular shopping street. the officer who opened fire has been charged with murder. the family of the teenager who was killed did not want the

s today. manchester getting up to 57, nashua at 59. those quickly-rising temperatures. look how much the temperatures couple of hours in the north country, down into the 30' s and into the 20' s. southern new hampshire' s is s, so a big discrepancy right now. more warmer weather is on the way right now. winds are pretty light out there coming out of the south. we have the southerly winds bringing it up and they' re all at about 5-15 miles per hour. that will be ahead of a front that is moving on through. every world' s, we are partly if not mostly clear at the moment, and we will see those clouds coming and going through the day tomorrow. we are looking at partly cloudy

jen: mbta officer addict on a you -- officer dic donohue who was injured in a shootout with the bombers, has tweeted this his family is expecting their newest addition. him and his wife are expecting their second son to arrive in april. they already have a two-year-old boy. jean: and one of the best parts of thanksgiving dinner is the leftovers.

jean: welcome back. the e. coli found in a batch of cosco chicken salad may have come from the vegetables. jen: tests indicate the bacteria stemmed from an onion and celery mix used in the salad, although one more test is needed to confirm that. 19 people in seven states have gotten sick from the salad, but health officials expect that number to grow. jean: the agricultural department and stilltasty.com have put together a holiday guide for safe leftovers. to keep things the most fresh, try to wrap them and get them into the refrigerator within two hours of serving.

advocates, or casa, are a voice for abused and neglected children in the courts. this year, the group is asking you to consider supporting their mission on a regular basis. >> the goal is to bring in 25 new monthly donors to casa. >> those funds will help us support 100% of the children in the state of new hampshire, and that is our goal this year. jen: casa has been navigating for new hampshire children for over 25 years. the bells are already ringing at the salvation army' s traditional red kettles. from now until christmas, at least 140 have tolls will be stores, malls, and other businesses. the salvation army kettles are a significant impact last year -- impact.

jen: many kids will have a brighter christmas morning because of toys for tots. the first of nations for this year' s campaign arrived at the mall of new hampshire on a sleigh. the efforts collect gifts for kids from infants through 17 years old. it has drop off locations all around the state. you have for usually provides more than 60,000 toys and organizers say each year it gets more exciting. please donate. there are families that need your help and it makes you feel good. it will feel good to help these people. although toys are for all ages are needed -- toys for all ages are needed, there is always a greater need for children 13 and up. this year, toys for tots will collect items until december 11th. you can also help put a smile on a child' s based this holiday season by donating to our spirit of giving toy drive.

increase the number of families enjoying a hot thanksgiving dinner today. the new hampshire food bank had it' s thanksgiving demand, although it needed extra help for the trimmings. it is now turning its attention to christmas meals. >> we' ve grown 20% over last year. we are looking for canned goods and providing fixings for those holiday meals. jen: our animals the red of giving food drive kicks off on friday, december 11. we will be collecting nonperishable food donations at all hannaford, shaw' s, and walmart locations in new hampshire through the 13th. you can purchase prepackaged donations at any of those stores. all the food collected will go to the new hampshire food bank and agencies they help. announcer: and now it is time for weather with josh judge. josh: we were above average, the
