tom: now at 11:00, a man says robbers held him at gunpoint in his own house. >> one of them would stand in the doorway and put me on the ground as the other two were just ransacking the rooms. tom: the items the men got away with. manchester' s winter parking ban goes into effect tomorrow. but the rules about where to park are changing. mike: dry for now, but rain is approaching from the south and when it arrives, plus how much west. when it arrives, plus how much we could see. tom: the man accused of killing three people at a planned parenthood clinic in colorado made his first court appearance. what we' re learning about his actions after his arrest. manchester police are pitching in to help a new non-profit. how this bike-focused operation is getting people moving. >> no one covers new hampshire like we do.

tom: durham police are looking for the 3 people who held a man at gunpoint as they ransacked his home. good evening, i' m tom griffith. a terrifying story tonight. the young man says he came home on saturday night and found the 3 men in his home. wmur' s suzanne roantree spoke to the victim and joins us live from the durham police department. suzanne: it was just before 10:30 on saturday night when brian hochberg returned to his madbury court rental house -his roommates were out for the evening, so he thought the house was empty, but once he got inside he realized that wasn' t the case. >> he was acosted by three men who were armed with hand guns they were wearing masks and dark clothing. hochberg found the 3 suspects running up the basement stairs with their guns pointed at him, and for the next forty minutes the 3 armed robbers kept hochberg close by as they filled their backs. >> they started leading me they' d kick in the door one of

put me on the ground as the other two were just ransacking the rooms taking anything expensive, of value. suzanne five of the six bedrooms : in the house had their doors kicked in, the rooms left in chaos. >> all those dressers got pulled out, the bed was flipped up, the house was all torn apart. >> they brought me back into the living room and laid me down on my stomach and then they eventually exited out the back and it was about 10 minutes until i finally realized they were gone. suzanne unhurt hochberg, whose : cellphone had been stolen, ran to a nearby bar where he was able to call police. >> everything that we had of including xboxes, tv' s, electronics were big. >> my laptop was stolen another roomates laptop was stolen, my suzanne the robbery has left : hochberg and his housemates i haven' t felt safe sleeping in unsettled.

suzanne: police want to hear from anyone who was in the area that night between 9:30 and 10:30 and saw anything suspicious. the group that lives in the house, they say because of the robbie most -- because of the robbery, they will most likely move out. tom: manchester police are investigating whether two recent robberies are connected. on friday night, a man demanded cash at amt market on massabesic street. the clerk says he tried to use his shoe to hit the would-be robber and that scared him off. he left empty handed. on saturday night, the clerk at s superette on somerville street reported a robbery. surveillance pictures show a man wearing a mask and police say he demanded cash from the clerk. manchester police are looking into any connection. the planned parenthood clinic in claremont reopened today, nearly six weeks after it was hit by a vandal. police say a boy got into the building in october and used a hatchet to destroy computers, phones, medical equipment, and plumbing fixtures.

officers are keeping an extra eye on the facility, particularly in light of friday' s deadly shooting at a planned parenthood clinic in colorado. a battery of firefighters converged on moran road in hopkinton for a two alarm fire. fire investigators are still sifting through the debris to try to determine what started it, and they' ll likely be back at it tomorrow. the homeowners eventually made it back to the house early this evening to learn that their dog did get out safely but the structure had serious damage. >> no one was home. it was called in by a passer by,initial reports went to weare it didn' t come through concord and once concord was notified we were dispatched,and it went to a second alarm right away with the extent of fire that was on scene when we got here. crews were called back to handle tom a hot spot late this : evening. a fire in south hampton destroyed a home this morning. the owner of the house on hilldale avenue says he was sleeping upstairs when the flames broke out.

and no one was hurt. firefighters are investigating the cause. police have arrested a second person in connection with the theft of guns from an armory in worcester, massachusetts. investigators say ashley bigsbee, from dorchester, had one of the assault rifles that was taken from the armory two weeks ago. 10 of the weapons taken from the armory have been recovered. the fbi announced today a 15,000 dollar reward for information about the six that are still missing. administrators expect a normal day at two schools in tilton tomorrow, after a shooting threat today. winnisquam regional high school and middle school were placed on a ' soft' lockdown this morning after a student alerted school officials to the threat on a social media app. school administrators say they contacted the police immediately. about two dozen parents opted to pick up their children after they got the automated phone alert. >> after seeing all the mass

not something i' m willing to risk. we want to send the message that >>we want to send the message that this is very serious. people will be prosecuted and charged if they put those kind of threats out there. tom: police say with help from the fbi, they identified the suspect and determined there was no credible threat to staff or students. manchester' s winter parking ban takes effect tomorrow but there' s a change to how it works. during months that are even numbers like december you should park overnight on the even side of the street. during odd-number months, drivers should park on the side of the street with odd address numbers. under the old plan, the date determined where parking was allowed. in commitment 2016, new jersey governor chris christie held a town hall meeting in loudon tonight. he' s campaigning in the granite state after picking up two endorsements in two days. yesterday, the new hampshire union leader endorsed him, and today a pair of well-known

tom o' malley is just the latest : candidate to take part in our candidate cafe series a meal , with undecided voters who were selected with the help of our partners at saint anselm college. president obama is in paris tonight for the beginning of two weeks of discussions over how to handle global warming. more than 150 world leaders gathered today for the u.n. climate change conference. this long planned meeting comes just weeks after the terror attack that killed 130 in paris. president obama says the ongoing terror threat should motivate the world leaders to do more to save the planet. president obama nothing will : deter us from building the future we want for our children. what greater rejection of those who would tear down our world than marshaling our best efforts to save it? tom meanwhile, the city is on : lockdown for the gathering and all public protests are banned.

clear skies and those temperatures are falling off. quite a few changes down to the south and west. some rain showers will creep in with some cold air tomorrow morning in western new england. if you' re traveling into western mass or towards connecticut, there could be some light freezing rain you -- to contend with during that commute. occasional light showers during tomorrow afternoon but then steady rain on and off tomorrow night right through wednesday night. on the back side of the storm it will turn cold enough for quite a bit of snow in upstate new york, in vermont and possibly northern parts of new hampshire into northern maine. 16 atop mount washington, actually beginning to warm up slightly at other -- upper

20' s on average across the lakes region and points south and southeast. teens and 20' s elsewhere, a few mid-20' s at the coast. in between a wedge of warmer air is trying to roll through at the same time clouds are moving in as well. the warm air is overriding the coast of to the north creating the cloud deck and eventually some light precipitation. the only concern tomorrow in new england in the morning will be for light freezing rain in western massachusetts and also connecticut. then a couple of these light showers make it in during the late morning and early afternoon. not a lot of heavy rain on tuesday. here are the widely scattered showers in the afternoon and early evening.

wednesday, at times heavy and other times very little if any. notice once that begins to pull away cold air chases it and that changes it over to some steady snow. upstate new york, into northern and central maine. we could see several inches piling up in the white mountains and even a couple of inches in the lower elevations in the great north woods. notice there is a cut off over central and southern new hampshire. we stay snow free for the most part but there could be a few flakes mixed in with the rain shower. a few flurries of north on friday, outside of that it is dry and the first weekend of december is looking fantastic. there' s an estimated 2500-3000 santas that will be running down main street on saturday.
