tom: now at 11:00, police in california have identified the 14 people killed in a shooting at a holiday party yesterday. tonight, investigators still don' t know what prompted the attack. shelley: one of the wounded in that shooting is a woman from hinsdale, new hampshire. the strength her childhood to pastor says will carry her through this. tom: hillary clinton addressed the attack in california while >> but it' s becoming clearer in any that we are dealing with an act of terrorism. tom: the steps she thinks should be taken to prevent future attacks. mike: temperatures head higher as we move through the weekend. how mild it will get saturday and >> no one covers new sunday. hampshire like we do. shelley: investigators have identified the 14 people killed in an attack at a holiday party in san bernardino, california

they range in age from 26 to 60 and most work in that county public health department. tom: brandi hitt begins our team coverage. she is live in san bernardino california with the latest information for us right now. >> we' re learning so much more about the 14 people killed in this deadly shooting spree. the oldest is 60, the youngest just 26 years old, and many of them are parents with young children. tonight hundreds in this community are gathering to remember them. heartbreak and tears as the southern california community mourns the death of 14 people, all of their names confirmed by the medical examiner. brian lost his partner, daniel kaufmann. jennifer had a last memory of her husband, nicholas. >> i got an extra hug and a kiss

miller says gaspard underwent surgery last night but will be ok. >> so obviously the whole church shot yesterday, but we' relieved to hear that she' s recovering, and that you know, she survived the assault. stephanie: the pastor says that right now they are by their their daughter' s side in california. cheshire medical center released a statement tonight about her -- saying they are keeping her and her mom and dad and family in our thoughts and prayers. tom: law enforcement tell us 12 -- three pipe bomb style devices were remote detonated devices that never went off. they were removed i police robot.

expressing confidence law enforcement would zero in on a motive. hillary clinton: we will learn more about what went on and who these people were. and what their motivations were. but it' s becoming clearer that we are dealing with an act of terrorism. shelley: and the former secretary of state says, it reinforces an issue of critical importance to her, national security. >> it does raise some serious questions about how we need to be protecting ourselves, how we need to be sure that we have the best possible intelligence, that is shared between local law enforcement, state, federal law enforcement, and that we do everything we can to prevent these kinds of attacks. shelley: from there, clinton took questions, starting with one from a 4th grader, concerned about the nation' s homeless. >> it seems to me that there ought to be some thought given to how we can prevent people from being evicted or rendered

and that might actually be in the short run, a cheaper way to deal with the challenge than having them out on the streets and then having to be helped. shelley: in addition to this, clinton said she intends to raise economic standards for all americans. >> as president, i want to lift everybody economically, i want to get back to where we' re having broad based prosperity, where there are good jobs that are paying well and wages are rising. shelley: other issues addressed at tonight' s town hall included clinton' s desire to introduce paid family leave, climate change, and ways to better care for veterans. republican presidential candidate john kasich also addressed the shooting in california at a town hall he held in salem tonight. the ohio governor says he thinks are the problem leading to mass shootings is a shortage of mental health resources, particularly emergency beds for people who need them. he continues campaigning tomorrow in manchester.

mike: a number -- another weekend approaching and you think may be cold or snow, but none of that as we go through saturday and sunday. take a look at the time lapse, sunshine a good part of the day. thicker cloud cover farther north and west and that' s where the snow did fall in the great north woods and across a good part of the white mountains. looking ahead, flakes coming to an end up north, dry and chilly overnight up north and then a nice stretch of weather follows. warmer by this weekend, and a quiet early next week but the next storm chance not until the middle of next week. enjoy it while we have it because you never know when the weather pattern will turn very active.

the higher elevations got a bit more. clouse beginning to break up north, and temperature wise in the 30' s and many spots limits and points north, 40 on average in the upper valley and run around 40 through the merrimack valley and over toward the coast. running just a little above average for this late hour of the evening. the winds have not completely shut all. that means stirring the atmosphere up a little bit and allowing temperatures to rise a little bit and stay above the norm. 30-35 elsewhere, just a little above average and tomorrow will be three or four above the norm. the jet stream lives to the north and that will allow mild air to come in for both saturday and sunday. near 50 in many spots on
