on his mother' s porch and lit it on fire. mike cronin is live in the studio with details. mike: police say justin kane lives with his mother. he allegedly ran away and was picked up, leading to a search 27-year-old justin kane is behind bars, accused of trying fire. police say they had an argument. kane allegedly poured gasoline on the porch and lit it on fire. >> the occupants in the residents advised us it was purposefully set at the house by justin kane. mike: salem fire responded to the duplex around 3:00 on north main street. police searched the area with help from local departments. state police, the k-9 unit, and

the house was engulfed in flames. hampstead fire says there were no injuries. the red cross is assisting to people. >> there were no hydrants in this area, so we had to bring water in from various tankers. stephanie: the cause of the fire is under investigation. neighbors in portsmouth are raising money for an historic restaurant after a four-alarm fire damaged the building last week. so far, the staff of portsmouth gas like restaurant has received more than $5,000. officials say the accidental fire started with a grill. no word on when the restaurant might reopen. right now, police are searching for a missing teenager, 16-year-old ronaldo acosta. he was seen in downtown nashua friday. he is described as hispanic, 5' 7", 150 pounds. his family is concerned for his safety.

call nashua police. police in guilford are looking for a suspect who stole a car and attempted to steal money from an atm. a witness reported a car backing into an atm at the bank of new hampshire on country club road. you can see the car and the suspect in these photos. officers say the car was stolen from outside st. joseph' s church in laconia. if you have information, please go police. tonight, new information about a deadly rollover crash on route 101 in exter. police say eric williams of hampton was pronounced dead at the scene yesterday. prior to the crash, police attempted to pull williams over for several driving violations. he smashed into guard rails and rolled his car several times. williams was thrown from the car. >> in the area east of exit 11, the operator made a sudden movement, and the vehicle lost control, subsequently striking

reail ail. stephanie: stay with wmur as we learn more about the investigation into this crash. a driver allegedly hit and killed a pedestrian in manchester last night. police say a 19-year-old woman from manchester was driving west on bridge street when she hit the victim. authorities have not released the victim' s name and are investigating the crash. and massachusetts man is facing charges after police say he drove the wrong way on i-93 in windham. state police stopped the card north of exit 2. troopers arrested the 22-year-old and took two passengers into protective custody. marzara is charged with reckless driving. a pelham teenager is facing reckless driving charges after

state police a 19-year-old joseph brown was driving south on 93 in wind him just before nine the clock -- windham before 9:00 this morning. brown is due in court january 14. rochester police say a massachusetts man exposed himself at a walmart that moran -- this morning. the call came out just before 11:30 at the walmart on farmington road good officers arrested 42-year-old gary jenke for indecent exposure and lewdness. rochester police are investigating two previous incidents of indecent exposure that occurred at the same wal-mart december 1 and second. some of you could wake up to rain even slick roads in the north country. you are taking a live look and meredith where it is 43 degrees. meteorologist hayley lapoint tells us when the rain is going to arrive. hayley: some of you are seeing the rain north of the notches.

stephanie: people lace up their sneakers and merrimack for a good cause. the annual toys for tots 5k took place at merrimack high school. runners and walkers donated to toys for tots. event organizers say they will use a portion of race fees to buy gifts for families in need this christmas. >> my wife and i have our own business. we put on races and produce them for work. this is one of the fun ones that we do. all the cash left over is going to go to toys for tots. stephanie: each year, the event draws 40-50 runners and walkers. we want to thank everyone who donated to our food drive this weekend. we collected more than 154,000 meals for the new hampshire food bank, and your generous cash donations totaled $69,000. we are still tallying the online and mailed cash donations.

six adults in a massacre in newtown, connecticut. an underwater search for a computer hard drive and evidence linked to the gunman in the san bernardino shooting ends. leaders are calling for changes to gun laws. katie whitworth is in san bernardino tonight with the latest into the investigation into the mass shooting. katie: the fact that one of the san bernardino terrorists tashfeen malik was able to get a visa despite social media postings supporting violent jihad is prompting calls for a wider mandatory vetting process. >> i am asking to immediately initiate a process that would check the social media sites of those admitted on visas to see if they are using words and talking about things like jihad, explosives, mass shootings. t been already done. juli: meanwhile, one of the officers who chased malik and he r husband down is speaking out.

stephanie: similar walksstephanie: took place around the country this weekend. >> now meteorologist hayley lapoint and your storm watch 9 forecast. hayley: we had some sunshine on saturday. except up north where we had sunshine, but there is a live look in claremont. it' s a quiet evening, clouds rolling in across much of the state, though there are some showers in the northern part of the state. you can see the overcast skies in portsmouth. nice shot. past couple days. really, all of december so far has been quite warm, well above temperatures. nashua. the monadnock region, s. 50 degrees in rochester.

it is well above the average highs you can have this time in december. here is the spread across the region tonight. we haven' t fallen off all that much. 44 in concord. 44, jeffrey. up north where it was clearer longer, the temperatures are colder, but with clouds we have in place, we aren' t going to see temperatures dip all that much. for the month of december, i don' t have to tell you this, that it has been incredibly mild. one day, the very first day of december, was the only day we have had temperatures below the average high. every other day has been so much warmer. yesterday, we had a high temperature of 57 in concord. i don' t know if it will be the warmest december on record, but if we keep this up, we will end up close to that. with that said, there is colder up to the north, and because of the system coming through, we do

of freezing rain. you can see that pink color from berlin up into colebrook, pittsburgh, some of those areas. there might be some freezing rain overnight tonight. be careful if you travel late tonight or early tomorrow morning. a freezing rain advisory has been posted for northern cholos county, and that goes until 9:00 a.m. monday. here is the overall situation. we' ve got a huge system in the central u.s., and this is a cold front, or at least part of it moving across the southern u.s., even prompting some flood issues and tornadoes in texas. this system is going to move up closer to us. in the meantime, mild air still surges in. tomorrow, it won' t be a cool down like we will see later on this week. here is how things are going to go. tomorrow morning, getting ready
