back porch of the home and lit it on fire while his mother was standing at the glass door and watching. kane ran off according to police triggering a search. picked kane up. they were able to track kane by his cell phone and arrested him as he tried to leave his father's house. they say they were lucky. >> the residents was a duplex that also had someone in the property. so that arson obviously could have gotten really bad, especially using a propellant such as gasoline. ray: no one was hurt. kane is set to be arraigned this morning in court. they are still looking for the person who picked kane up. it is unclear who it was. live outside of the circuit court in salem, ray brewer,wmur news 9.

investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire. when they arrived just before 11:00, they found fire on the back of the building and called in all off duty firefighters. crews were able to mostly contain the flames to the porch area. the cause is under investigation. officials say there was no power to the building and no one lived there. two people are dead after a fast-moving fire in wooster, massachusetts. an elderly brother and sister lived there for decades. neither made it out. the flames burned through both floors of the home. it is unusual for someone to not notice for this long. the cause is under investigation. the police chief in new bedford, massachusetts died. david proverger was a survivor of throat cancer. the mayor called him a great man and
