sean: the mother of a rochester teen who died of a drug overdose in court today. jazzmyn rood wants her bail lowered. good afternoon. i' m sean mcdonald. she may be released on a recognizance bail. wmur' s ray brewer is live outside of superior court in dover with what happened this morning. again, the mother was in court this morning asking for her bail to be lowered. we can tell you jazzmyn rood faces several charges in the overdose death of her daughter. she had been living in a hotel with rood and rood' s boyfriend you' re in court, the defense argued that rood is a grieving mother. the prosecution argued that bail

herself and the community. the prosecution saying if rood is released, she has no job and is likely to resort to criminal activity. the judge set provisions monitoring. if she meets those conditions, pr bail. the rockingham county sheriff' office arrested three suspects from massachusetts in connection to a drug investigation. officers charged francisco controlled drug with intent to distribute. county house of corrections on $5,000 cash bail. junior diaz and vanessa monteiro were charged with conspiracy related crime and released on bail. an early morning swat raid in manchester ended with two drug-related arrests. police say 29-year-old charles ali sold undercover officers crack-cocaine. detectives conducted several

several weeks. ali is charged with sale of a controlled drug and violation of bail conditions. officers also arrested 22-year-old ebony perryman-jones on an outstanding forgery warrant. this noon, we are learning more about a man who lead manchester officers on a foot chase. officers responded to a complaint of a man urinating on o' malley street, and when when they confronted the man, he ran. police chased 18-year-old ayuen leek and took him into custody. leek is charged with resisting arrest and falsifying physical evidence. he was also wanted on an outstanding warrant. another mild morning for mid-december. hard to believe it is mid-december. a clear view this noon from our hampton beach camera where it' s 42 degrees. it looks beautiful out there, but kevin, this does not feel like december. kevin: even with temperatures above average, we are still a solid 10 degrees below where we were running yesterday at this time, and through the afternoon,

the mayor says without the 60-bed shelter, the city was people in hotels, which would have cost a lot of money. shelter will open. a section of elm street in manchester will be closed for following a major water main break. the water has been restored, but crews are still repairing the road itself. emergency officials say the roadway buckled, causing water to flow down the street. elm street will remain closed today from west clark to thayer. in commitment 2016 coverage, republican presidential candidates went head-to-head last night in cnn' s debate in las vegas. fighting terrorism and immigration reform were among the top issues. abc' s bazi kanani has some of the gop debate highlights. bazi: this time, jeb bush came out swinging at front runner donald trump area mr. bush: he' s a chaos candidate. he would be a chaos president.

office. lawyers for the teenager convicted of killing his math court one day after philip chism was convicted of murder. 16-year-old chism faces charges, including attempted murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in connection to an attack on a state department of youth services worker while he was awaiting trial. this morning, and lawyers set another court date. chism faces life in prison, for the murder charge. sentencing will be after the holidays. students in los angeles are returning to class today. threats of a large-scale terrorist attack shut down the entire school district yesterday. several school board members received an e-mail threat. hundreds of officers searched schools for explosives, but nothing was found. the fbi determined the threat was not credible, but authorities do not know who sent those e-mails. chipotle is making some changes after a massive e. coli outbreak

the mexican chain is reducing its use of locally-sourced food and centralizing preparation of some vegetables. s ceo says customers will not pay the cost of the new safety rules. health officials have not identified the source of the a scary moment when a plane landed in nashville last night. the southwest jet rolled off the runway and into a ditch. officials say the plane became stuck and both the nose and side of the plane were damaged. passengers evacuated using the emergency shoot. eight passengers were rushed to the hospital but were later released with minor injuries. >> they made sure there was no fire or explosion or anything everyone was able to get off quickly. sean: the federal aviation the incident. it is not immediately clear what caused the plane to skid off the runway. but no doubt some scary moments. what have we got? kevin: cooler temperatures over the next four days or five days. i think by the weekend, we have been worrying about when it will
