mike: the sanders campaign says party leaders are trying to undermine his run for the white house. out its case. earlier this week, party officials say there was a database breached in a system voters. during that breach, the dnc says staffers from the sanders campaigninappropriate we access s data. the sanders campaign fired its data staffer but in response to the bridge, the party suspended sanders campaign. the lawsuit says without access to that database, the campaign will lose about $600,000 in donations a day. if blames the party for the situation, saying it is the dnc and not the campaign that is in breach of contractual duties. the campaign should not be published -- punished for the carelessness of the dnc. >> individual leaders of the dnc can support hillary clinton in

campaign. one of the strongest grassroots campaigns in modern history. >> the dnc has not sent out a specific response to the lawsuit but chair debbie wasserman schultz said earlier today they need to know whether the sanders campaign used any of clinton' s data. she says when we receive this report from the sanders campaign we will make a determination on re-enabling the campaign' s access to the system. the clinton campaign says " we are asking that the sanders campaign and dnc work expeditiously to ensure our data is not in the sanders campaign' s account." we will continue to follow this developing story get tom: democratic candidates will be on the stage for the last democratic debate of the season. josh joins us now with a look at the campus transformation at

josh: with upward of 1000 people expected to attend tomorrow, it is a tough ticket to five. for the students and faculty, being a part of the process is pretty cool. from the outside, saint anselm college offers the appearance of a tranquil pre-holiday campus. a few yards in, all that changes. media has dissented in you can almost feel the political buzz. >> it is really amazing having the debates on the campus hair is just incredible experience especially for the students that are working with abc and students that will be able to its hands, faculty experts this is exciting and a lot of buzz. josh: crews have been working at a fever pitch. he' s an international student from each of. his school has allowed him to meet everyone from hillary clinton to jeb bush to donald trump. >> i' m not politics major but having this kind of environment makes me more politically engaged.

tom: now onto the weather. we are talking about snow in the forecast. it is finally some good news for the ski areas. jennifer: it is going to feel more like december. finally. especially up north. mike haddad explains what to expect. mike: tumbling temperatures and a bit of snow will fall up north. quiet now. ray showers have scooted along the coast entered portions-of the merrimack valley this afternoon. - rain showers. it is all white to the west. have a lake-effect snow' s on the order of one to two feet in a few spots. some of those lake affect danced to scoot into southern new hampshire tomorrow but most of the snow over the weekend will be up north. upper 30' s and lower 40' s south and a lot of cold air sitting back in the great lakes and all the way into a good portion of the midwest. that is the air mass that told in for the weekend putting temperatures back to average. how much longer will that last and when can it warm up again?

tom: new development about the man accused of giving a fatal dose of heroin through a rochester teenager. court documents show he was working as a confidential government informant at the time. the paperwork submitted as part of a separate drug case shows that mark ross was paid by the dea three times between march 2014 and october 2015 when the agency learned of his involvement in eve -- death. ross elicit a rochester man to sell heroin to an undercover agent three times after the pair drug. including eve' s mother, charged in connection to the 17-year-old ' motel in october. police came he gave her heroin ultimately killed her. they ultimately' say he waited an hour and a half to call for help he removed nd

a plain feel pulsed were facing a charge after police say she was caught on camera opening mail and pocketin cash. jennifer: kim smith worked at the post office. complaints from residents about mail tampering go back to august. reporter: the police chief worries that the victim list could expand. it soon as the story got out, he was flooded with phone calls from people saying their family and friends never received the gifts they had sent. >> when i think of stealing money from kids in christmas and birthday cards, i see nothing but evil. reporter: the police chief says that appears to what is happening in this video. it led to the arrest of 50-year-old kim smith. >> people are wonderful in this little town. you assume that is the way it is going to be. reporter: resident started tampered with. the post office.

tom: for 1/6-grader the magic of christmas is alive and well. jennifer: every year the middle school puts on a veterans breakfast. and his biggest wish was that his sister who serves in the army could come. he was told she could not make it. ray: they have been putting on the spread rates for a decade -- this breakfast for a decade. this year they needed some kleenex. >> family is everything. christmas, they will be together. jessica surprised her grandfather and brother at a veterans breakfast hosted by sixth-graders in peterborough. caidan has only seen his sister once in the past year. >> it means everything because i love her so much. ray: jessica spent time overseas -- returning home is special because it brings back memories and there is another.

tom: state officials are warning drivers to get ready. jennifer: last year 21 state police cruisers and 28 dot plows were hit by other vehicles during snowstorms. today officials gave some tips on how to cut down on those numbers. slowing down and leaving more room between vehicles. officials also say the safest place on a highway during a storm is behind a plow.

>> a plow drivers are not seeing you trying to get around them. please stay back a safe distance. jennifer: state police say the first storm is usually the worst for accidents, because drivers have not yet changed their habits. >> now chief meteorologist mike haddad with your storm watch 8 forecast. -- storm watch 9 forecast. mike: time last -- lapse on the coast started quite on dry. but wet roadways at market square and it will be dam to the course of the evening. notice temperatures for highs today again, 40 plus in concord and near 50 along the coast before it did cool down. speaking of 40 plus, take a look at these numbers. so far the first 18 days of december, 17 of them have featured 40 plus degree weather.

days, only four. two years ago, only three. you want to talk about a rarity. this doesn' t happen when you get 40 plus for so many days in the first half or 2/3 of december. still holding onto 30' s and lower 40' s with a northwesterly wind beginning to take over. that wind direction is key because it will start driving in chilly stuff into the day tomorrow. speaking of the overnight temperatures, not all that cold. remaining above average but colder than it has been. low 20' s will do it up north. near 30 cell. snow showers arrive up north while it does dry out in the southern parts of the state. a lot of cold air in the states -- single digits and teens and north and south dakota and portions of minnesota. even though this does modify in time, it does bring our temperature pattern right back to average during the course of the weekend. it is courtesy of the jet stream. it drives in that cold air for

but by monday, tuesday, wednesday and christmas eve day here comes that mild air surgeon back at us before it cools back down around christmas day. busy winds during the day tomorrow. gusting over 30 miles an hour. that will provide a windchill and put those numbers at least feel like temperatures in the 20' s as opposed to the highs in the 30' s. what about that chance of snow? heavy actions in parts of the great lakes where one to two feet will pile up over the next 36 hours for the north country gets in on snow showers tonight. during the day tomorrow, lake-effect snow bands could survive the trip into the upper valley. there could be a dusting and can' t rule out one or two of them but breaking up over southern parts of new hampshire including the merrimack valley tomorrow afternoon and evening. sunshine in full force on sunday. and temperatures beginning to climb by early next week. light at the relation of snow up
