back in september, the state department of health and human services made 4500 narcan kits available at community health centers. there are 68 rite aid pharmacies in new hampshire where you can get that narcan now. reporting live, ray brewer. erin: thank you. police in moultonborough are launching a new addiction outreach and recovery program. the department is the first in new hampshire to partner with the police assisted and addiction recovery initiative. -- addiction and recovery initiative. students in nashua are going back to class after a threat closed all of the schools in that district yesterday. there will be added police at the schools today. investigators checked every building yesterday and they are confident that they are safe.

threat a hoax, but they will do everything they can to bring whoever is responsible to justice. the former police chief in bartlett has been arrested. timothy connifey faces several charges, including witness tampering and perjury. while he was chief, he improperly controlled the prosecution of kate putnam, with whom he had a relationship, and then tried to influence her testimony to a grand jury about their relationship. he is also accused of lying under oath about that relationship. kate putnam is charged with false swearing in. police in exeter are looking for this masked man robbing the exeter market on front street. officers say the man at a gun. they grabbed money from the register just before 2:00. crews plan to make final repairs to the pavement at a shopping plaza in manchester after a

foot sinkhole yesterday. a police cruiser was sitting in the drive-through lane at starbucks when the ground gave way beneath him. nine businesses were forced to close for the day. we are told the water is back on. you have a new way to get to the manchester-boston regional airport. a new road connecting londonderry to the airport by penttengill road opened yesterday. officials say it will help accommodate growth in the area. >> this represents an opportunity economy. what we can try to achieve in londonderry and from a regional perspective. erin: senator kelly ayotte and governor maggie hassan also attended the ribbon cutting. plans took 10 years. police in augusta, maine have arrested the man accused of trail last month.

he kicked a four-month-old golden retriever hard enough that it traveled four feet in the air. the dog has recovered. crews worked throughout the night in plymouth, massachusetts to clean up a big mess after a crane toppled from a home and sliced through the second floor. no one in the home was hurt. three other cranes were brought in to remove the first one, but the work was unsafe, so they had to wait for larger cranes to arrive overnight. still ahead, lindsey graham has ended his campaign for the white house. the south carolina senator could still play a key role in the race. aixa: examining the issue of immigration. the hot topic being debated along lawmakers and presidential candidates. erin: the redevelopment project at the balsams resort has cleared another major hurdle and

aixa: immigration continues to be a contentious topic in washington and on the campaign trail. with an estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants living in the u.s., fixing a broken immigration system is high on the priority list for candidates on both sides of the aisle. >> the immigration fight could be one of the biggest issues of the campaign. aixa: one year after president obama announced a series of executive actions to protect 5 million undocumented immigrants from deportation, the plan is in legal limbo after two federal judges ruled president obama overstepped his authority. the obama administration is appealing to the supreme court. people -- >> people come here to survive and improve their lives.

as new hampshire continues to battle a major drug epidemic, governor maggie hassan has signed a standing order to stock narcan at all right aid -- rite aid pharmacies across the state. ray: hundreds of people have died in new hampshire from opioid overdoses this year. the governor refers to this as a life-saving move. >> i' m very grateful that rite aid stepped up here. we are losing almost a person a day to overdoses, especially to fentanyl right now. narcan allows somebody to administer a drug safely to pull somebody out of an overdose. ray: with the standing order,

right aid -- rite aids across new hampshire. the cost will be $50. >> what is important for people to know is that not every rite aid in new hampshire will necessarily have the narcan that day, but they can all order it or they can tell you what rite aid store does have it. ray: this is the latest move to fight the most pressing public facing new hampshire. earlier this year, the governor signed legislation allowing doctors to prescribe narcan to the families and loved ones of addicts. health and human services made 4500 narcan kits available at community health centers across the state earlier this year.

>> the pharmacist will tell them how to administer it and what they need to do after they give the narcan. ray: rite aid said they are committed to reducing overdose deaths in the state. there are 68 locations in the state. erin: students in nashua are adding back to school today after officials closed all of the city schools yesterday due to a threat. they say the e-mail threat was specific to nashua' s two high schools. police are not saying what specifically within the threat, but they are confident the schools are safe. the chief said they checked every school and did not find anything suspicious. the superintendent stands by the decision to cancel classes. >> had we help school dinner other schools, we would have had a very high rate of absenteeism and anxiety in the community.

there will be extra officers on hand at schools this morning. and accident involving a police cruiser shut down an intersection in manchester. it happened at the intersection of valley and pine. three people were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. the attorney general' s office is asking for your help in solving a two-year-old murder in keene. 48-year-old david wheelock was found shot to death inside his home on december 21, 2013. detectives are hoping to find anyone who is driving on pearl street the night that he died between 9:00 and 9:30. anyone with information on the
