sean: kriss blevens was invited to take part in a bipartisan house of representatives event yesterday. she knows the pain that drugs can cause personally. ray: lawmakers held what is known as special order, during which they shared real solutions and stories, including the overdose death of kriss blevens' stepdaughter amber. she was invited to the house of representatives to share amber' s with lawmakers on the bipartisan task force to stop the heroin epidemic. amber died from a heroin overdose at the age of 22 in her stepmother is on a mission to curb the epidemic, talking to presidential hopefuls who sit in her makeup chair and she has helped launch the "hope for new hampshire recovery center." >> most of the people we are placing have to go out of state right now.

so hard that he caused another concussion -- a concussion and fractured skull. david mitchell was arraigned yesterday on one count of second-degree assault. he and the victim were in a nightclub when an altercation took place. the men went outside, where mitchell through a single punch. erin: several u.s. intelligence planes were seen taking off from an american military base in japan a day after north korea claimed after -- claimed it had successfully tested a hydrogen bomb. lana zak is following the global response. lana: good morning. military experts are saying this is likely another case of north korea' s inflated claims of grandeur. not likely a hydrogen bomb -- that is the latest word from the intelligence community.

kevin: seasonably chilly start to this thursday morning. not bad of a start compared to where we have been early this week. we are looking at a lot of sunshine around today. we will start adding clouds tomorrow. we will talk about that coming up. erin: we are following a developing story out of new york. 17 miners are trapped in a salt mine in the town of lansing, 40 miles outside of syracuse. sean: they are trapped about 900 feet down an elevator shaft. they have been trapped since late last night. we will keep you updated. for the first time, the house and senate have approved legislation that would repeal the affordable care act. erin: the house passed the measure and the senate approved it.
