sean: outrage is growing over the the water crisis in flint, michigan. the mayor is headed to washington to ask the white house for more help. this comes as michigan' s governor is poised to give his state of the state address tonight. but he' s expected to be greeted by protesters enraged by the crisis. reporter reid binion has the story. reid: angry protesters in flint, michigan, calling for the rest of governor rick snyder, as residents cope with lead contaminated water flowing into their homes. it started in april 2014 when the state temporarily switch to the water source the notoriously dirty flint river. it was a cost-saving measure

this comes as sean: the white house has yet to weigh in on a bipartisan agreement that would give public schools more flexibility when it comes to healthy school lunches. the bill would ease requirements on whole grains and give schools more time to reduce sodium content. many schools have complained that the standards supported by first lady michelle obama are burdensome and that students simply won' t eat the options. a new u.n. report says nearly 19,000 civilians in iraq were killed, and more than 36,000 others wounded between january 1, 2014 and october 31, 2015. the report details killings by the islamic state group including shootings, beheadings , and people being burned alive. the report also says the islamic state group is believed to be holding 3500 people, mostly women and children. you step outside the door today, you will be greeted by cold temperatures.

sean: break out the kernels. today is national popcorn day. according to the popcorn board, i' ve always wanted to be on that board americans eat about 13 , billion, yes, with a ' b' , quarts of popped popcorn each year. that equals to about 41 quarts per man, woman, and child. quick math in my head right there. if you had problems logging into twitter this morning, you' re not alone. the social media site went down all over the world for a few hours this morning. users attempting to access the site got messages warning the network was over capacity or was suffering from an internal error.
