george's interview with cruz later on "good morning america." well, the department of homeland security is making major changes to the visa waiver program, cracking down on europeans with ties to four countries -- iran, iraq, sudan and syria. under the new rules, europeans who have dual citizenships with one of those countries or have visited in the last five years will be under increased scrutiny. the changes prompted by the paris attacks. former pilot has been arrested for flying a plane while drunk. david arntson has been released on bail and ordered back to court next month according to court documents, he was randomly tested for drugs and alcohol when he landed in orange county. he has since retired from the airline. conviction on this charge could mean 15 years behind bars. federal officials say a

police in south florida releasing this surveillance tape of two women they say drugged and robbed two men. the suspects and their alleged victims met at a bar and went back to one of the victim's homes. the women allegedly made the men a drink. they woke up the next morning to find their rolex watches missing along with five other watches that were supposedly kept in a safe. >> wow. well, add one more hollywood a-lister to the growing list of critics taking aim at what necessity see as racial bias in this year's class of oscar nominees. >> actor will smith sat down with our own robin roberts saying he will honor his wife's call for a boycott of this years

blinding winds are hours away. that first snow was no surprise. it was forecasted, but local governments didn't treat many of the roads. our local station got stuck. >> there's actually kind of a sheen of ice down here. that's the problem. so, vehicles probably didn't realize that and there's just crashes all over the place. >> reporter: slick roads and not enough snow crews working, leading to an embarrassed mayor. >> we are very sorry for inadequate response. >> reporter: not reassuring with this even bigger blast, a blizzard, quickly approaching the mid-atlantic. expected to paralyze the region. which is why salt trucks were being loaded a full day before the big storm. and it's not just snow. the chief meteorologist at our station wpvi in philadelphia says this could be the biggest storm since sandy. >> for the delaware and jersey beaches, this will be the greatest test since hurricane sandy.

records, afraid to come forward. >> i was scared. i didn't know what to do. >> reporter: that was until he abused this neighborhood grandmother. >> he picked the wrong lady to stop that night. >> reporter: it was a jury that recommended the 263-year sentence. the judge agreed, showing no mercy. pierre thomas, abc news, washington. an oklahoma bank president has been shot to death during a robbery attempt. officials say a man walked into the bank and killed randy patterson. another employee was injured. the suspect fled in an suv. he was later killed in a shootout with troopers. scary moments for workers at the los angeles zoo. one employee fell into the gorilla enclosure while working on a sprinkler system. he was later rescued by the fire department. zoo officials say the four gorillas were in their bedrooms and the worker was never in any danger. so, people on the streets here in new york city did more than a few double-takes when
