over alongside the road near police say when they arrived near the area, the car had taken off, but they found footprints in the snow leading into the woods. area residents were put on shelter in place through social media. >> we secured the area and through the assistance of the new hampshire state police k-9 unit and using thermal imaging devices we were able to confirm , that the person who did go into the woods had come out and left. suzanne: the shelter in place was lifted at about 8:30 this evening. police say they have found some forensic evidence in the case but they cannot disclose what that is. they are looking for the driver of that older two-door gray mitsubishi.

after police say he was hit by a car in concord. the road was closed for several hours tonight. police are still investigating but no charges have been filed at this time. shelley: court paperwork says the man who owns a house in brentwood was the subject of an undercover sting. agents say he was trying to buy tens of thousands of dollars worth of ammunition. under the cover of night, fbi agents conducted a raid at this home on crawly falls road in brentwood. today, paperwork from the u.s. attorney' s office revealed the owner of the house, is 52-year-old daniel musso seen here during a 2013 scuffle with police in front of the state capitol. musso' s latest brush with the law was wednesday, during a sting operation. court papers say musso wanted to buy an extensive amount of weapons, and was involved in anti-government discussions. the fbi says they were tipped off last august, when musso went

about buying $16,000 worth of ammunition, including grenades, gas masks and rockets. then last week musso met with an undercover agent posing as a weapons dealer. the affidavit says musso told the agent he was part of a group of people who wanted to quote, bring forth the original constitution, and said that' s why he needed the ammunition. back in 2013 musso was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault, for the confrontation at the capitol. he was one of several gun advocates attending a rally organized by the mayors againly -- against illegal guns campaign. musso was taken into custody wednesday, after meeting an undercover agent in seabrook. the affidavit says musso illegaly received grenades during that meeting. musso has been charged with violating a federal firearms law. tom: gary lee sampson' s sentencing re-trial has been set for september 14. he was originally sentenced to death after he pleaded guilty to

in massachusetts during a crime spree in 2001. sampson also admitted he killed robert whitney in meredith. sampson' s death sentence was overturned in 2011 after the judge found a juror lied about her background. goffstown police say they found a credit card skimming device inside a card reader at a gas station. the pump at the irving circle k gas station at 277 mast road had been out of order since saturday afternoon. customers complained an error message showed up when they swiped their cards. a service technician discovered the skimmer. surveillance cameras at the gas station are helping police in their investigation. >> there were two vehicles parked outside that pump specifically where we believe someone placed it there at about midnight on the 23rd. tom: police say whoever installed the skimmer would have to come back to the pump to get

goffstown police want to hear from anyone who used the palm at the station between midnight and noon on saturday. shelley: police say a man led officers on a 40-mile chase through two states before he was arrested. somersworth police were trying to stop charles bill last night on several criminal motor vehicle violations. berwick maine police picked up the chase when he crossed the border and followed him through lebanon maine and milton new hampshire before a maine state trooper forced bill' s car to spin out. police found 40 grams of heroin on him. for many, the memories of the challenger disaster are so vivid it' s hard to believe it has been 30 years. tom: tonight, the center that bears the name of concord teacher christa mcauliffe held a tribute for her our stephanie woods takes us there. stephanie: 30 years ago on this day, one concord high school teacher stream of space travel became a nightmare for the rest of the country.

plymouth high school senior will johnstone. we caught up with him while he was taking some ski jumps at practice. will does all of the skiing sports. alpine, cross country skiing, and jumping. last year he won the nhiaa ski meister award. he is the captain of the ski teams at plymouth high school and also captain of the golf team. he skied 95 days last year, so he just loves being out there. will also volunteers at the salvation army and the mobile food pantry. he will ski for plymouth state next year and study business administration. although he skis many disciplines, he does have a favorite. >> i would have to say the giant slalom and ski racing. i been working at that since i was younger and it' s something that i just love the most. of always love the outdoors since i was little. once i started skiing it kind of
