road with the details. ray: erin, police are releasing few details on what happened here on huse road or pine street. they certainly kept busy last night. the first shootings happened here on huse road which is located behind the mall at about ten minutes before 9:00 last night. they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound that does not appear to be life threatening. manchester police response unit was on the scene. officers taping off one entrance to the hotel as well as a vehicle in the parking lot. it was about an hour later when police were called to another shooting this time on pine street. again one person being treated for what appears to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound. officers were seen inside the building. right now there's no word as to what might have prompted either shooting again. police saying they don't believe they are connected at this point. live in manchester, wmur news 9. erin: thank you. right now police in

for the driver who after shots were fired in town last night prompting a shelter in place order for resident. two people called 911 before 6:00 saying they had heard a single gunshot after an older gray car pulled over. by the time the police arrived, the car was gone. they found footprints leading to the woods. they told people in the air yo to say inside. >> we were uncertain if it was a victim or suspect at the time. we secured the area and through the assistance to the state police canine unit and using thermal image images devices, we were able to confirm the person that went in to the woods came out and left. forensic evidence. they are looking for the driver of the older gray mitsubishi. sean: police are trying to yesterday. when firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire spreading up

it took a total of 50 firefighters to put it out. one was treated for a minor injury. the red cross is helping three people. a nearby charter school was briefly evacuated due to all of the smoke. a man is being treated for series injuries. the man was in a wheel cheer when he was struck yesterday between commercial and main streets. no charges have been filed. that case remains under investigation. erin: we're following some breaking news from the political front this morning. in an exclusive interview with john distaso, frank guinn that says he will run for re-election this year. giunta says he has repaid the $355,000 that he owed to his parents as part of the agreement with the commission. last year the fec ruled that he violated federal election law by taking obsessive campaign contributions from his parents in 2010. he maintains the money

sean: there's exciting news in hooksett. robie's country store will re-open this spring under new ownership. a couple has reached the deal. joshua and amber enwright runs roots catering and will serve breakfast and lunch. the store will be open on primary day if you want to swing by and learn more ant the plan. erin: a pharmacist who worked at the walmart in seabrook won a $30 million lawsuit. maureen mcpadden worked for walmart for more than 13 years. she reported several legal and safety concerns that were leading to prescription errors. she was fired a short time later. mcpadden sued claiming gender discrimination along with wrongful

looks like we say mild. 40's for most include wednesday before another system moves through and then even more changes follow with cooler air for the end of the week. again plenty clouds this morning in tandem. right now a lot of the clouds on the north western side of the system that is located well off shore several hundred miles. i think between that and the upper level energy, we're going to see some scattered snow showers develop. again nothing that's going to last all day or cause huge problems in area roadways. they will be out there. i think most prevalent in the white mountains. you could see locally up to an inch of snow. temperatures in the 20's to near 30 degrees. these numbers just a degree or two shy of the normal highs for this date. of course lack of tremendous deep snow pack across the area just kind of helps temperatures stay up overnight. temperatures running 10-12 degrees warmer than yesterday at this time thanks to the cloud cover. the coldest of the air starting to retreat back. another warming trend

high temperatures today above freezing statewide. we'll be approaching 40 degrees with the clouds in southern areas. as you'll notice here, anywhere after mid-morning that chance of some scat ed snow shower activity along with a mostly cloudy sky. then it will start to pull away later tonight. even the snow showers up north give way. sunshine to clouds. a light snow and a warm front. could be an inch or two of accumulation out of that. with partial sunshine on sunday, we're talking temperatures in to the 40's. again 40's to near 50 on monday. remaining in the 40's tuesday. then wednesday as the next system rolls in. right now looks like it will be warm enough unless it arrives really early in the day this would be mainly rain fall for us on wednesday. as it pulls away, cooler dragged down. by the time we get weekend we're talking highs in the 20's to near 30. that will be more typical of what we would expect this time of year as opposed to pretty much the next lot that

now at this time, there's no word on whether any arrests have been made. it was about an hour later around 10:00 when officers again responded to another shooting. this time on pine street. they say one person was shot. like the first shooting victim, the injuries are not believed to be life threatening. now at this time no further details are being released. there's no indication that the two shootings are connected. reporting live in manchester, ray brewer, wmur news 9. sean: all right. thanks. we are learning new details about an fbi search at a home in brentwood. court paperwork says the man who owns the house was the subject of an undercover sting. agents say 52-year-old daniel musso was trying to buy tens of thousands of ammunition. he was involved in anti-government discussions. the fbi was tipped off last august when he went to a firearms dealer to ask about buying $16,000

grenades, gases, and rockets. an affidavit said he told the agent he was part of a group of people who wanted to quote bring forth the original institution. musso is charged with violating a federal firearms law. erin: goffstown police say they found a credit card skimming device inside a card reader at the gas station. the pump had been out of afternoon. a service tech discovered the skimmer after customers complained about an error message when they swiped their cards. police are hoping that surveillance cameras can help them track down the culprit. >> they have to come back, get the information, and recompromise themselves on security footage. erin: the goffstown police want to hear from anyone who used pump six at the station between midnight and noon last saturday. they say that you should contact your bank and let it know your card may have been compromised.

the sentencing retrail of the convicted murder. gary sampson was originally sentenced to death after he pleaded guilty to carjacking during a crime spree in 2001. he also admitted to killing robert whitney in meredith. his sentence was overturned after a judge found the juror lied about her background. the sentencing retrial is set for september 14th. erin: an investigation underway in peterborough after officials say that threats were made against some students and staff members at conval high school. according to the superintendent a note was sent to parents saying the responsible parties have been identified and are not attending school in the district. he added that precautions have been put in place to protect students and staff. they are not aware of any broader threats. sean: a man from maine is recovering after suffering serious injuries in a snowmobile accident in stratford. fish and game officials say 45-year-old paul politz was riding in the area of strafford yesterday afternoon when

sled, went 15 feet over an embankment, and slammed in to some trees. they believe the accident may have been caused by a rock that was protruding out of the ice. erin: a familiar face on the campaign trail ended up in court line. rod weber also known as the flower guy gained attention by showing up at primary events and offering prayers and bow bouquets of wild flowers. a run in at a donald trump event had him worrying about getting locked up. it shows him trying to shout out questions. they charged him with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. prosecutors dropped the criminal chargers and weber pleaded no contest. even after his brush with the law, the flower guy says heparanned to stay involved in the political process. >> we're going to have some laughs and go out there and enjoy life. if we're not enjoying life, then, you know,

nashua. the next republican debate will bring the candidates here to new hampshire. abc news and wmur are partnering with st. anselm college which will be held on saturday, february 6th. the democrats are not officially scheduled to debate again until february 11th in wisconsin. sean: a texas middle school is closed after at least 145 students and staff were sent to the hospital yesterday. authorities say paramedics were called after a student passed out due to a carbon monoxide leak and boiler. dozens of staff reported the symptoms, including nausea and headaches. >> it is sad. i don't know everyone at the school. i still care about everyone and hope that nothing like this bad would ever happen to them. sean: all of the students and staff members have been released from the hospital. erin: a certain of sonic booms rattled nerves. >> i thought i was going crazy.
