erin: ray brewer is life in hooksett with a closer look at surveillance video. ray: police telling us they have not confirmed a link, but there are similarities. the surveillance video shows the two people forcing their way in which give weaponry in hooksett -- wicked weaponry in hooksett two weeks ago. this week, there was a similar crime at hitman firearms in tyngsboro, massachusetts. police say similar guns were taken and the method seems to be the same. >> it' s upsetting to hear that they are hitting more gun shops. that being said, and there is the potential for them to be caught. ray: the owner of wicked weaponry has posted all

recognize the crux -- crooks. eight weapons were taken from the store. reporting live, ray brewer. erin: a londonderry man faces up to life in prison after being convicted by a federal jury in maine. gregory ellis was convicted of interstate -- gregory owens was domestic violence. prosecutors say he drove from new hampshire to maine with the intent of killing his wife rachel. during a home invasion, he shot his wife and one of the homeowners. they did survive. >> any man that would try to get out of a relationship by shooting his wife in the head has serious problems. erin: owens did take to the stand in his own defense.

sean: new details are emerging about a deadly attack outside a bar in rochester. tyngsboro, mass w --41-year-old eric langlais wept in court yesterday. he is accused of landing the blow that ended the life of 44-year-old james unfonak outside gary sports bar. langlais delivered a sucker punch outside the bar that caused unfonak to die. >> they waited for him outside the bar and when they walked out , they attacked him. sean: he has previously served time for assaulting a four-month-old. he is being investigated for an altercation outside another bar that night. erin: franklin pierce officials say they cannot discuss

school officials did contact police last month after hearing about a student conversation. moving forward, the case will be canceled -- handled by franklin pierce, not police. sean: crews worked into the night preparing -- repairing a water main break in lebanon. it took a little while to track down the exact source of the issue. crews dug up a large source of the issue -- a large chunk of the road. a traffic flagger is being treated for serious injuries after he was hit in the head by a tree over the border in vermont. 77-year-old donald ferland was knocked unconscious as a tree was removed from the side of the road. he was not wearing a hard hat.

kevin: starting off your wednesday with temperatures easing back to the freezing mark. clouds and partial sunshine get us back into the lower 40' s in southern areas. we will look ahead to weather changes for the weekend coming up. sean: the new england revolution soccer team is stepping up to help a youth soccer league in manchester hit by vandals several times. erin: the manchester angels has been hit half a dozen times, including last fall. now, the revolution' s charitable foundation is holding an online auction, including jerseys worn by the players, to help the league. sean: if stores want to keep accepting food stamps, they must stock healthy options according

agriculture department. the number of required healthy options is doubling, including fruits, vegetables, meat, and bread. school lunch of parker varney elementary school is getting a bit of a makeover. last year, 76 or graders and a survey. they provided their findings to the school board. students want more fresh fruit, vegetables and triangle pizza instead of the traditional square cafeteria pizza. >> their voice matters and if they want to change something, they can do it, no matter where they live or how small or young or old they are. sean: students are eating more school lunches. because they asked for meals to be made on site, a local company helped construct a new kitchen at no cost to local taxpayers.

sean: pope francis is wrapping up a five day trip to mexico with highly anticipated stops. he will visit a prison and will also visit the texas border to get a look at the plight of migrants and pray for those who have died crossing the border. the trip wraps of a mass that will be simulcast in el paso. erin: maple syrup producers are calling on the fda to crack down on food labeling. producers say many big manufacturers claim to use maple syrup in products, when they use corn syrup. they say there is not even any maple sugar, just chemical flavoring and color. they say the misbranding is having a negative effect on their industry and integrity. for comparison, they asked how apple would react if someone was selling fake iphones?

of new toys hitting the stores. hundreds of thousands are on display at the annual toy fair in new york city. options include a space explorer drone, pom-pom maker, a voice-activated barbie, a pedal cart, a go kart with parental controls, and a spooner. i love going on. while most of the toys will not be available until the end of summer, a lot of them look really fun. sean: we have a lot to discuss with that video. the academy awards will be handed out later this month and the oscar itself is getting a bit of a facelift. the features of the 1929 are being restored and will be hand cast in bronze before getting the 24 karat gold finish and the overall size will remain the same. it takes about three months to

[laughter] kevin: it is a pretty classic look. erin: apparently, it is getting more classic. kevin: we start off with a look outside. you will notice a sheen to the area roadways. anywhere that has a little bit of leftover moisture, temperatures are down within a few degrees of 32. if you travel a distance across the state, you will notice that temperatures move around depending on elevation. the difference could make all the difference early this morning. factor in a couple of extra minutes. we are looking at a mix of sunshine. a lot more in southern areas.

partial sunshine expected not only today, but through friday. that will be a warm front that brings in milder temperatures. quite a few clouds build in and these move through mid-to-late morning. the day today for us. they will be a breeze that goes at around 5-50 miles per hour into the afternoon. a weak area of high pressure will continue to settle in. temperatures will start to slide back. the cooler air has not quite arrived yet. we are in the low to mid 30' s early on. temperatures still running above where we were running yesterday. we are going to continue to see these numbers slide through the

there is the coolest of the air and that starts to rotate overhead. highs will be from the mid-30' s to lower range of the 40' s. southeastern spots, we will call partly sunny. we have a very weak system gliding through. fair skies through friday afternoon. increasing clouds on friday evening. it does look like the main push of that energy will be to the north. we will provide a few areas of light snow early saturday morning. temperatures for central and southern areas likely on that are sunday will be in the low and mid 40' s. today, we will be in the low 40' s. there will be some snow showers

sean: dario did not seem bothered by the crowds. he kept gnawing at his handlers pocket. it turns out the treats were in the other pocket, but he was looking for them. he was having a good time. erin: he was more interested in the treats than the dog show. sean: there was a lot of hair on that dog. erin: a german shorthaired pointer was the winner. homer simpson is soon going to broadcast live from springfield. sean: the iconic animated character will star in a live segment talking about the news of the day and may be questions from social media. the actor voicing homer will act out the character using motion capture technology. erin: we have seen sitcoms go live. this is going to be interesting. sean: homer is still going strong.

the crime may be connected to another burglary in hooksett. good morning, ray. ray: good morning. police telling us there is no definitive link between the break-in here at wicked weapons in hooksett and the break-in down in tyngsborough, massachusetts. on february 3, two suspects were caught on surveillance forcing their way inside wicked weaponry in hooksett. once inside, they smashed a display case and took off with four guns. early monday morning, another gunshot was hit in tyngsborough , massachusetts. >> the police were here in minutes. apparently, these people are in

ray: while the surveillance system at hitman firearms was not working, the police say there are similarities to the break-in in hooksett. >> very similar mo. the same type of firearms were stolen. ray: wicked weaponry owner hopes that they could lead to more arrests. >> it is upsetting, but that being said, there is the potential for them to get caught . there is more evidence and more to go on. ray: he has posted every minute of his surveillance video on youtube in hopes that someone can identify the suspects. a total of four handguns were stolen from the shop in tyngsborough, meaning there were eight stolen weapons now on the street. reporting live, ray brewer. erin:/ / --

for dozensof delta passengers diverted twice. a flight bound for jfk in new york left the dominican republic, but was diverted to manchester because of poor weather. 150 passengers stayed overnight and were supposed to fly to new york on tuesday afternoon. that flight was diverted and hand to lend -- had to land in boston. >> i' m not usually a nervous flyer, but it really got to me. i had to take some dramamine. we had some stomach issues. than 12,000 skymiles. but that does not play -- pay for a flight to the dominican republic. erin: the victim of a deadly snowmobile crash was a hampton falls firefighter. he was snowmobiling with friends on monday when fish and game officials say he lost control

he was just 30 years old. we are also learning new details about a brutal assault in northfield. police say this man repeatedly punched charles eisenhower outside a house early saturday morning and then slammed his head into a sliding door. the victim is in critical, but stable condition. both men knew each other, but authorities are not commenting on a possible motive. sean: a manchester couple is accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars of jewelry from their 70 a rope neighbor. jacob and lauren stibs started stealing from the woman last summer. jacob did all jobs around the woman' s home. she called police after realizing she was missing cash. soon after, she realized what hundred thousand dollars worth

they eluded police until they were captured this week. the couple admitted they were drug addicts and sold the jewelry to buy drugs. erin: a nashua man is accused of exposing himself to students. 30-year-old jonathan nzali reported -- was reported as being naked in the bathroom for more than two hours and had exposed himself to students. he was previously convicted of indecent exposure. sean: a man fired a gun inside a crowded restaurant on valentine' s day. robinson diaz is accused of hitting another man in the head with the gun before it went off. new charges have been filed against two people involved in a big fight in hampton beach last month.

james restaurant. police sought casey walker actively fighting. she is facing additional charges. christopher walker is accused of assaulting a police officer and trying to run. he faces an additional charge. two other men were also arrested. dylan justus and caleb butts both face assault charges. erin: investigators are trying to figure out what caused a garbage truck to catch fire. it was the cab of the truck that caught fire. no one was injured. sean: the fish and game commission will vote on a controversial proposal to launch a bobcat hunt in new hampshire. they banned bobcat hunting in 1989. fish and game officials are proposing to issue 50 bobcat

after a situation led to major delays last night area the train started to fill with smoke. a piece of the third rail was damaged and caused the motors to overheat and start smoking. some panicked passengers kicked out windows to escape. >> it was kind of crazy. the train was full of smoke. >> all of a sudden, there is a big, brown bill of smoke and people were standing and sitting down. it was so big and so dark. we knew it was not something safe to be around. erin: the orange line station was shut down for two hours. it is now back open. sean: a thief in georgia had a change of heart after stealing a little girl' s birthday gifts. the thief ran off with a box full of the child' s gifts. the video was posted on the

the following day, the father got a big surprise. the thief returned the gifts and left the family an apology note with cash inside. >> specially now, your chances of getting away with rings are getting slimmer and slimmer. people are watching. sean: police have identified a suspect and are interviewing him about the theft. erin: there could be a major breakthrough in the fight against cancer. researchers in seattle announced a potential new treatment this week. in the treatment, doctors take white blood cells from cancer patients and genetically modify them. the cells are then put back in the patient to multiply. the research has not been reviewed by other scientists. but in one study, 94% of symptoms were removed. sean: one dollar bills could be
