killed in the terrorist attacks. good afternoon. i'm kristen carosa. 13 people with ties to new hampshire perished that day. today ceremonies were held to mark the solemn occasion. wmur's ray brewer is live outside trinity high school in manchester, where there is a growing memorial to the victims. ray: throughout the day here at trinity, school are placing flags in front of their school, a concrete reminder of what was friday was not a day like any other at trinity high school in manchester. >> ? whose broad stripes and bright stars ? ray: a solemn remembrance of what happened 15 years ago when america was attacked. bishop peter libasci says the way people helped each other in the aftermath gave reason for hope. >> the realization that people can do better that there's

we can bring that back without tragedy but in the good times embrace each other, we've got a lot to be grateful for. ray: outside the school students placed flags each one bearing a , victim's name. >> it's our intent that each victim receives the thoughts, the reflections, the prayers of our students. ray: at smyth road elementary school they were also remembering. for one student who introduced the governor, there is a special connection. >> my mom and dad were in nyc -- in new york city when it happened. governor hassan: september 11 was also a day in which americans demonstrated our individual and collective resiliance in the face of great horror. >> thank you. ray: mayor ted gatsas told the students to thank first responders. and one of those first responders says there is one lesson in particular he takes he takes from 9/11. >> i look at it as a way to find inspiration. i look at it as a way to see the

police did not release details on those. new at noon, a manchester man is behind bars after police say he exposed himself to some high school girls. police say 30-year-old jacob mobley-hall was arrested yesterday nearby a high school in lexington massachusetts. he is being charged with multiple counts of open and gross felony and exposing himself. he is a registered sex offender here in new hampshire. manchester first responders are speaking out about the drug crisis. record straight on the city's heroin epidemic." the letter said, "it serves no one to make false claims about the problem or proposed solutions in the political arena." it later went on to say "despite political claims that crime has risen 19% in manchester, the truth is that the latest statistics show crime has dropped by 22% over the same period one year ago." the letter also stated that
