wrapping up from the massachusetts stateline to exit five. from the traffic network, i'm deb davidson for 95.7 wzid. sean: tops our news, the danville man accused of murdering a woman inside her home more than a week ago is expected to face a judge today. erin: 37-year-old richard moore is charged with second-degree murder in the death of joanne boucher. ray brewer is live in danville this morning with the story. good ray: good morning. investigators say that richard moore stabbed boucher several times. according to the attorney general's office, boucher died on friday. her body wasn't discovered until the

officials won't comment on the relationship. officials say their investigation is far from over even though they have made an arrest. people live in the area say they are revealed that moore is behind bars. we expect he will be arraigned today later. he's expected to be charged with second-degree murder. live in danville. erin: thank you. a driver was looking at the cell phone when he crashed into a h concord. the car slammed into the home. it ended up three quarters of the way. no one was in the room where the car went in. it is not clear if the driver will face any charges. a pedestrian is in the hospital with serious injuries this

sean: the driver of a school bus is dead after crashing into a concrete pillar at the airport in denver. the bus had just picked school football team returning from california when the driver crashed yesterday afternoon. at least 18 other people were the bus were hurt, throughing 15 students. two are in critical condition. several of the school's homecoming events have been postponed for canceled. a crisis team will be available for classmates today. researchers say more and more kids are being treated for concussions suffered playing soccer. in a study published, doctors say the rate of

in parts of the north country. have some fog that has formed. humidity not all that high right now. dewpoints are in the 40's across a good part of the state. a beautiful sunrise setting up this morning at the coastline with a temperature in the upper 40's. right around 50 along the big lake. you get away from the lake by just a couple of miles. you are talking mid 40's. it will be nothing but sunshine for us today. a very comfortable afternoon with temperatures are going to be up into the 70's just about it will be in few places that will be between 67 and 70 later on this afternoon. big area of high pressure in control of our weather. that continues through early wednesday before the next front starts to approach. mid to upper 30's. 32 at the freezing mark on top of mt. washington. lower 40's and lower 50's in and around manchester with upper 40's. closer to the shoreline this morning. dewpoints in the 30's and 40's. a very comfortable day.

it is only going to go around five to ten miles an hour. just notice the 24-hour temperature change from yesterday. yesterday we had the clouds, we had the humidity, and we had the front moving in. behind that front it has dried out. with the clear skies and light winds within we're a solid 20-30 degrees cooler than we were yesterday at this time. you can see the progression through the week. a little surge of warmth after a cooler day today, tomorrow, and the warmest of the days ahead of the front that arrives on wednesday. again there will be a few spots like the pittsburgh, colebrook, and maybe a stewarts town between 67 and 70. everyone else comfortable before dropping into the 40's to lower 50's. mid 70's to lower 80's. about four or five degrees warmer tomorrow afternoon with the air mass starting to moderate. then we start to adjust a touch of humidity. the dewpoints will approach 60 degrees on wednesday. as we'll go from

brewer. ray: a danville man is expected to be arraigned today on a charge of second-degree murder. investigators with the state attorney general's office say that richard moore stabbed joanne boucher several times. moore was arrested on friday. investigators say that boucher died on friday, september 2nd. her body wasn't discovered until last monday inside her home on caramel drive. erin: police say a driver was looking at a cell phone when he crashed into a home slammed into the home just before 8:00 and ended up about three quarters of the way inside. we will learn later today with the winner of the massive powerball jackpot won here in new hampshire planned to do with the none. lawyers for the prize will come forward today and announce the winners philanthropic plans. it will be interesting to see. sean: it is exciting. coming up, in the sky, it is a bird, it is a plane, -- no.

caramel drive last monday. that was three days after authorities say she was killed. they say that moore stabbed her repeatedly. the new hampshire sex offender registry says that moore was living at the same address. it also shows he had a criminal record that dates back to 1996. in 1998 she was convicted of felonious sexual assault. and a statement issued after moore's arrest last week, boucher's ex-husband told news 9 quote we are glad that horrible crime. however myself, my fame, and the rest of the decent law-abiding citizens being wonder why career criminals, such as richard moore, are allowed to walk the street. nothing from the attorney general on the circumstances surrounding murder. reporting live in

wmur news 9. erin: thank you. police in massachusetts are investigating a boating accident that claimed the life of a new hampshire man. 39-year-old mark green was moultonborough died. the three vessel were competing in the bills giles memorial. one of the speedboats spun out while traveling at pea miles per hour, causing a pileup. all three both drivers water. green died at the scene. a second boater was maine was injured and remains in critical condition. sean: a pittsfield man is facing charges after he hit a state police canine. the dog is now doing fine. this picture of him was taken a few hours afterthe incident. kasper was helping track down a suspect. when he found the suspect in the woods, he

back in the north country. the picture was taken last week in whitefield. many of the members young cadets up to the age have just learned how to fly. they hope to help their communities with search and rescue missions. the civil air patrol started back in 1941, a week before the japanese attack on pearl harbor. new hampshire has nine squadrons. they were established this year. it has 32 registered cadets and 18 senior members. carolina carter, took the stage at the contest over the weekend. carter and 51 other contestants were hoping to bring home in the crown. in the end, miss arkansas was crowned the miss america. she ran on a platform to end diabetic. she's a type one diabetic herself. she wassed second youngest contestant. congratulations to get that far. erin: definitely. a college party takes a frightening turn in connecticut.

the first and second congressional district faced off in the granite state debates last week. to learn more about them and get voter information such as how to register and polling places, head to the politics section at wmur.com. erin: more than two dozen people are recovering after suffering injuries in a deck collapse over the weekend. police say the collapse happened during a party near trinity college on saturday night. they say that a third floor deck was collapsed on to the second floor which collapsed on to the first floor deck. >> all three decks were occupied during the party. it was your typical college party with a lot of kids. it fell. >> it was just a lot of screaming. a lot of girls screaming. a lot of people were traumatizeed. erin: a college spokeswoman says that 28 students were taken to the hospital. no one was seriously hurt. people across the country are remembering

actress alexis arquette. her family says she passed away yesterday morning at age of 47. at this time, there's no word on how she died. arquette was known for her roles in the movie "the wedding singer" and "pulp fiction." she was the sister of david arquette. sean: a woman took an officer's place. police say when one of the women reached over and took two of the officers fries. he asked her to stop and told her she could be arrested. the woman grabbed a third french fry. that's when the officer decided to take her to jail. new federal data shows that fewer teenages are turning to alcohol and tobacco. the data shows that only 9% of adolescents

areas of fog early this morning. the normal fog prone areas over the next hour or two. it is going to be sunshine for most of the day today and with a lighter wind out of the west a pretty nice afternoon with temperatures up into the 70's. area of high pressure still in control this evening. that will allow temperatures again tonight to fall back into the 40's and 50's. you'll notice early this morning a lot of 40's. for a lot of folks, this is as cool as we've been this season. we'll do it all over again tonight. temperatures the levels by tomorrow morning. again some valley fog plays out once again. that will be after a mostly sunny and comfortable afternoon with a good deal of sunshine around. dewpoints running in the 30's and 40's this morning. really not expected to go much of anywhere through the next couple of days. i think there's a surge in that maybe getting back near 60 degrees for the day on wednesday. that will be ahead of the next front coming in. temperatures today for most will be ranging between 70 and 77.
