accused killer goes before a judge. good afternoon. i'm erin fehlau. richard moore is accused of stabbing to death joanne boucher inside her home on caramel drive. ray brewer is live outside plaistow circuit court, where moore's arraignment is underway. ray: the arraignment has just concluded, moore being held without bail. while the attorney general's office hn' between moore and boucher, according to neighbors moore had living with boucher at her home. richard moore is charged with second degree murder. no plea was taken on that. according to the attorney general's office, he stabbed the victim multiple times. neighbors say that boucher had lived at her home at 23 caramel drive for over 20 years. the ag's office says that she was murdered back on friday, september 2. however, her body wasn't

investigators with the state police major crimes unit continued to comb the house and backyard for evidence. moore has a criminal record dating back 20 years and was convicted of felonious sexual assault back in 1998. in a statement, boucher's ex-husband told news 9, "we are certainly glad that someone is being held accountable for such a horrible crime. however, myself, my family, and the rest of the de wonder why career criminals such as richard moore are allowed to walk the streets. something needs to change, not only in new hampshire, but throughout the country." some members of boucher's family or here for the brief hearing. if they have anything to say we will bring it to you online or at 5:00. reporting live, ray brewer, wmur news 9. erin: right now, the islamic society of greater nashua says

the building, breaking a window. worshippers were inside at the time. the mosque's president says the incident has been reported to nashua police. the massachusetts council on american-islamic relations is calling on this to be investigated as a possible hate crime. new at noon, state police troopers stop a man driving the wrong way on 293 in manchester. it happened sunday night near exit one. a vehicle driven by 48-year-old michelle lee st. yves going south on the northbound ramp. she allegedly kept driving in the wrong lane, and when troopers finally got her stopped, they say they discovered she had been drinking. st. yves is scheduled to appear in court later this month. a pittsfield man is facing charges after he allegedly hit a state police k-9 during a pursuit. the dog is named casper and is now doing fine. this picture of him was taken a few hours after the incident.

to track down 29-year-old gary craycraft after he ran from the scene of an accident early saturday morning in epsom. when casper found the suspect in the woods, police say craycraft hit the dog. he is now facing a number of charges, including maiming a police dog. the $487 million powerball ticket purchased at a raymond hannaford store earlier this hannaford store earlier this summer but we still don't know who the winner is. wmur's amy coveno is live with the the new developments. good afternoon, amy. amy: big afternoon here at lottery headquarters. lottery officials call this a seismic event not just for the winners of the new hampshire lottery as well. we know the winners are local, we know they love their community. we also know they are smart. they sat on it for a month and didn't tell a soul and they

lottery officials tell us if they had, we would know their name today because the winning ticket is considered a public document. but we will never know their name. instead, they went to a law firm and set up a trust. bill shaheen says he selected the name because robin represents joy and hope and that is what they hope the windfall will meet to the people of their community. $267 million is the lump sum take a presented as matching funds. to receive the prize money the store received for selling it to give it the largest amount, $40,000, went to end 68 hours of hunger. the prize money is historic and unusual because there is only one winner. >> took us a while to figure out how to take that amount of money into the state, as it would exceed a general treasury

erin: right now in tennessee, nine people including five children are dead in an early morning house fire. crews were called to the home around 1:30 a.m. it took firefighters about 15 minutes to get the flames out. officials say 4 adults and 3 kids were pronounced dead at the the scene. two other kids passed away at the hospital, where another remains hospitalized. it is the most deaths fr a mosque in florida caught fire overnight and is being investigated as arson. the pulse nightclub shooter, omar mateen, worshipped at this islamic center in fort pierce. someone called 911 just after midnight this morning to say the mosque was on fire. mateen died in a shootout with police in june, after he killed 49 people at orlando's pulse nightclub. the driver of a school bus is dead after crashing into a
