right now the rochester fire department confirms to news 9 that a train has hit a pedestrian along the tracks between summer and portland streets. jean: we don't know how seriously that person is hurt, but the fire department says the person will be taken to the hospital. we have a crew on the way to rochester right now and we'll bring you updates as soon as we get them. josh: new developments tonight in the murder a danville woman. jean: richard moore as you see arraigned on a second degree murder charge for the death of joe ann boucher. andy hershberger has that story. reporter: moore was ordered held without bail today for the murder of a 51-year-old danville woman who was found dead at her home last week. moore appeared before a judge today by video on one count of second degree murder for alley stabbing joe ann boucher to death. moore is a registered sex

boucher's home in danville. moore appeared emotional, wiping his eyes several times during the hearing. officials say moore stabbed boucher multiple times with a knife but would not elaborate on their relationship or a possible motive. authorities say she was killed on september 2, but her body was not found until a 9s11 call was made three days later. >> he's been charged with the second degree murder for stabbing miss boucher multiple times. the rest oft disclose and something that's also under seal with the court in the form of an arrest warrant, so i can't discuss it. reporter: fred's and family of the victim who were in court for today's hearing had no comment. josh: right now manchester police are looking for the man they say stole a bank deposit bag. sunday morning police say a man walked up to a clerk at the citizens bank on elm street, they say she was about to drop a deposit bag into the drop box

jean: tonight the national weather service says damage to a park in epsom is the result of straight line winds that passed through yesterday. wmur's jennifer crompton surveyed the damage today and got a closer look at how this became a matter of life and death. reporter: the storm carved a path of destruction through epsom's webster park sunday morning, while hundreds of people were right next-door. a 10-acre parcel of webster trees snapped in half, others uprooted. an estimated 60 trees broken or fell down. >> they all fell in the same direction, everything is laying in the same direction. and a lot of them came down because others fell on them, it was a domino effect. reporter: the national weather service says the damage was

biggest difficulties for these gubernatorial candidates will be trying to get their name out there and grab some headlines. when a presidential race seems to be grabbing all the media attention nearly every week. adam sexton, wmur news 9. josh: senator ayotte was out this morning, while her primary challenger was doing a lot of radio and making phone calls. but the incumbent this morning could be found in bedford at genesis health care, there sheme facing. ayotte says while it may be a primary election, she believes that people are very engaged. >> i any there's a lot of great energy out there. we've seen enthusiasm. i stopped by my campaign hours last night and there were a ton of people engaged. josh: she is looking for a convincing win to give her campaign momentum heading into

against democrat challenger maggie hassan. in the second congressional district race, two republican candidates also meeting and greeting voters ahead of tomorrow. kristen carosa is live in nashua with more on that. reporter: we caught up with the candidates as they campaigned here on main street, both trying to connect with as many people as possible before everyone heads to the polls tomorrow. we met up with state representative jack flanagan first at a restaurant. flanagan has served as a town selectman school b and town finance committee member. he's currently in his third term in the natural house, has three children and lives in line. then jim lawrence held signs and waved to voters. he owns a consulting firm in nashua, served three terms in new hampshire house, lives in hudson, and is married and has eight children. we asked both candidates why it's important for them to be running for this seat.

that. no holdups on 101 east to the seacoast. and traffic is getting knotted up northbound on the spaulding turnpike between newing ton and portsmouth. i'm peggy james for wzid. jean: right now authorities in florida are investigating an arson at the mosque once attended by the orlando night club shooter. investigators say surveillance video captures someone approaching the building just minutes before the fire elizabeth hur shows us the clues in this case. reporter: the video is grainy, but watch closely and you can clearly see someone running away. investigators are now calling this man a person of interest, who may be responsible for intentionally setting a fire at a florida mosque. >> he was holding a bottle of some sort of fluid and what appeared to be some papers or something like that. reporter: authorities say the

callers tell dispatchers the situation was getting worse by the minute. >> the flames are four to five feet, they're getting bigger. reporter: turns out this mosque is where the night club shooter worshipped. the fire set three months after that massacre, and on the day marking the start a muslim holiday. hate to set a worship center on fire on september 11 shows that there's no other intent other than create harm and terrorize the muslim community. >> right now we're not sure exactly whether this is a hate crime or just an arson. we do know that a crime has occurred and that it is arson. reporter: this mosque according to the local muslim leaders received several threats before this fire was set.

hate crime. the f.b.i. is investigating. elizabeth hur, abc news, new york. josh: tonight the prime minister of france is issuing a new warning to his country saying to expect new attacks. his comments come after a woman was charged in connection with a thwarted plan to attack the jean claude van damme cathedral in paris. the prime minister says the terror threat as at its maximum level, his authorities are monitoring 15,000 pee who they believe are potentially becoming radicalized. jean: syria's army says it's abiding by a week-long cease-fire, but there's no word if the country's insurgent groups will join. the truce was broken by the u.s. and russia and began at sundown today. however, there were still reports of violence in several areas throughout the city, or throughout sear that is, just a half-hour before the truce took effect. if the truce holds, the u.s. and russia will work together to target isis and al qaeda linked groups in syria.

clouds. overall fairly nice weather by many standards. look at the morning lows today. 43 degrees in concord. 36 in berlin. 35 in whitefield, mount washington a notch below that freezing mark and upper 40's in downtown manchester. but a nice recovery with a lot of sun during the late morning and afternoon. we're into the 70's in many spots, right near 70 along the canadian border. overnight tonight w temperatures are going to fall off very close to the dew point if not a little lower than that in the great north woods. once we get some dense valley fog to form, the dew point will actually drop off a little bit and we'll see the temperatures back into the upper 30's, so another cool one tonight. as for those dew points, very dry, invigorating air overhead right now, and notice it stays relatively low for tonight into tomorrow morning, into the afternoon, and even early on

of the south, ahead of that next front. and the dew point will begin to creep up a little, possibly near 60 or a little above in many spots by the afternoon. so that will lead to our next chance of showers, and a couple of storms. as for tonight, again we bottom out right around 40 along the ka made dwran border, on average 40's and lower 50's for many. then tomorrow slightly warmer than today. you notice a wedge of summer warmth trying to hold on here in mid september and it builts in for two days bef begin to fall off quite a bit by the tail end of the week as we go into thursday and friday. so again in between all of that our next chance of a couple of showers, maybe a scattered storm. mostly clear for tonight, good part of the day tomorrow features full sunshine, no cloud cover whatsoever. later on wednesday that's when this next front gets a little closer us to, so a sunny start, and then clouds begin to bubble up. once we get past the day tomorrow we're in that chance of

of night. and a new study published in the journal pediatrics reveals that parents using these measuring devices may be giving their kids the wrong dose of medicine more often than they realize. researchers tested the dosing skills of more than 2100 parents of young children. asking them to measure out medicine, either milliliters are tea responds using either a dosing cup or a dosing syringe. when they found, more than four in five of least one dosing error. one in five made a large dosing error, meaning they were off the dose by more than 20%. and two out of three of these errors would have led to an overdose. so for parents it's a remind they're care is needed when doling out medicine. these measuring tools, especially the oral syringes, are better than the teaspoon in your kitchen drawer. but getting the right dose can still be a challenge. so measure twice, just to be

akbar used to travel to lowell to pray, but three years ago when nashua became home to several hundred islamic refugees he volunteered to find a place for them here. people in just started to gather on sunday night for the 8:30 service. >> it was lighted up completely inside and people were sitting right beside the window. reporter: that's when a rock came through the one window that had an electronic sign advertising the mosque. it started -- >> he'sin by his ears it was very close to the ears, he thought the light bulb fell down from the top. he had some shredded glasses on his shoulder. reporter: outside the window, three people were seen running away. but police say this may not be an isolated incident. 20 minutes earlier a 911 call reported three juveniles throwing rocks at the sign. >> that sign and that trail head is in the general area almost

police say saturday night around 200 to 300 people were on winter street when they started throwing those items. there were no reports of injuries or property damage, and no one was arrested. the crowd cleared when a thunderstorm came through. a street sweeper was then called in to clean up all the trash left behind. today the boston police department begins its body camera pilot program. on friday a judge said the department does have the authority to require officers to wear t leaders will wear the cameras as part of a six-month pilot program. the union president expressed disappointment with the judge's decision. however, in a statement he says he will work to make the cameras a success. josh: back to commitment 2016 coverage, and hillary clinton is off the campaign trail today after a health incident during a 9/11 anniversary ceremony. as sally kidd reports, the scare

is being held for the murder of 51-year-old joe ann boucher. her body was found at her danville home last week. >> the state is alleging that you knowingly cautioned the death of another, joe ann boucher, date of birth february 21, 1965, by stabbing her with a knife. reporter: authorities say they believe boucher was killed sometime around september 2, but her body wasn't found until a 1 later. officials would not say who made that emergency call. moore is a registered sex offender with a 1998 aggravated sexual assault conviction. he was arrested in manchester last friday, but his address is listed as boucher's home in danville. moore appeared emotional, wiping his eyes several times during today's very brief hearing. authorities would not talk about a possible motive.
