call with 93% of precincts reporting. another race that is too close to call is the first congressional district. republicans frank giunta and rich ashooh are neck and neck. giunta has 46 and ashooh has 45% of the the weather. yesterday is going to continue today. kevin: we have a front making its way in. it could mean showers. it's been an increase in clouds up north. a broken line of showers back to the west eventually approaches. a couple of thunderstorms are a possibility along that line. 50's up north and 60's elsewhere early this

jeannie forester conceit conceded last night. ray brewer to break down the governor's race. ray: good morning, sean. later this morning the g.o.p. will hold their community breakfast here. all of the republican nominees will be here. we still don't know who the nominee for governor is. as you mention, chris sununu does hold a slight lead over frank edelblut. the fact that edelblut has s m surprising. and the state rep is not conceding. they say that edelblut might make a statement later this morning. sununu pulled a lot of support. he is expected to hold on. >> it is exciting. it is exciting. look, it is close. there's still, you know, a good amount of votes to come in. they will be counted. we feel good. you've got to count all of the votes. it is part of the new hampshire way. it wouldn't be a good primary. >> what i can tell you

is not going to be the next governor. ray: now the democratic race was decided with colin van o'tern easily winning over marchand and connolly. he pledged to keep new hampshire a no sales tax state, attract higher pays job, and try to extent the commuter rail service. his experience proves he's ready to lead the gran s make in the next two years will determine the economic future for the next decade to come. i know we can move our state forward the new hampshire way. we will leave politics at the door. we'll bring people together to work together with a focus on progress. not on partisanship. ray: the van ostern called for the kick off campaign.

that will be crossing the state through the afternoon. that means any sort of warning sunshine will give way to clouds. we'll have the chance of scattered showers or a storm. the north country quite a few more clouds without the day. with that, on and off showers. that's going to keep temperatures in the 60's. for central and southern areas, a run into the 70's for lower half of the 80's with enough sunshine through noontime or 1:00 before the clouds invade. eventually this front will mean business. as a matter of fact, he had earlier this week is the possibility with this with maybe even some patchy frost by friday morning. right now in the north country either side of 50. southern areas are in the low to mid 60's. a solid 15-degree difference. we're looking at a solid 20-degree difference for the high temperature into the afternoon. temperatures warmer this morning. over ten degrees warmer than yesterday thanks to a light breeze out of the southwest and the clouds continuing to make their way in.

and much cooler air which will be coming out of central canada eventually. high temperatures today upper 60's up north. it will be in the lower half of the 80 ohs in southern areas. maybe as high as 85 or 86 from manchester to the coastline. our best chance of the shower or storm will be after 3:00 or 4:00 in southern areas. we deal rule it out that one or two may have gusty winds. it will be on and off shower activity. you can see by 1:00, clouds continuing to make their way into state, invading central areas and scattered showers up north. as the front comes through, broken line of showers. we aren't expecting the shower activity in central and southern areas to last anytng more than an hour. there may be a couple of brief downpours, we're not expecting over a half an inch of rain. there could be the chance with the stronger wind gusts. northerly wind continues to kick in behind that. that will drop temperatures in the 40's to lower half of the

southern new hampshire probably not out of the 60's. that will be with full sunshine. that will lead us to the cooler night or thursday night. a lot of areas by friday morning will be down into the 40's and mid and upper 30's. high temperatures today going anywhere from the upper 60's up north to lower half of the 80's in southern areas. as i said, on and off showers up north today. central and southern areas we'll wait for the afternoon for a couple of scattered showers or a thunderstorm. as i mention, friday morning the next air mass comes in. patchy frost possible for parts of the north country and maybe a couple of the sheltered valleys in the upper valley as well. extended forecast shows another warming trend into the weekend. not quite as warm into the latest stretch. we'll be in the 70's. sunshine for saturday. if you are looking for a couple of scattered showers, the best chance of that will be either later saturday evening or into sunday. sunday does not look like a wash out. it does look like temperatures will start edging up again early

>> two months to go. back to you. sean: thanks. new on "daybreak," a deadly crash in ossipee is under investigation. the accident happened shortly after 4:00 yesterday in the area of deer cap campground. state police say a pickup truck was heading north when it crossed the center line and slammed head on into a car. the truck rolled over. the driver of the car, 61-year-old janet bauman, wasro her passenger, 67-year-old gary bauman, was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. erin: firefighters in manchester are trying to figure out what sparked a fire. the flames broke out just after 9:00 last night at the residents at manchester place. close to 500 people were evacuated from the 200 unit apartment building at a deck caught fire. when crews arrived, they say that thick, black smoke was coming from the top floor.

they didn't know the building was on fire. people were in danger for a period of time. erin: officials say because the fire was outside the fire alarms hadn't gone off yet. lavally farms is asking for your help. a large amount of produce was stolen from their field sometime on monday. they say the thief made off with corn, chard, cucumbers, and tomatoes. due to the quality of vegetables stolen, a vehicle was needed to carry them off. sean: people in the town of hancock were shaken after hearing loud noises. fighter jets dropped flares that exploded in the air. they first said their jets were not involved, but later claimed
