jean: police responded here to the scene at merrimack and beech street's just about four blocks from downtown manchester. they have cleared the scene in the last hour, but here is video review recorded -- video we recorded in the last hour. witnesses tell us the victim was taken from the scene to the hospital. we do not know the person's condition at this hour. you may hear sirens in the that is the fire department responding to something else in this area. police have been questioning people living around here. a lot of neighbors out. they told us they were too afraid to talk on camera, but one woman did tell us it has

cherise: that's right, shelley. help is on the way. this big it on the corner of the fire department is now an option for those who have seen their wells run dry. fresh, clean water here in kingston is in short supply. roxanne moore has lived in kingston for three decades, and never before has she seen water so scarce. >> it's hard showering, ea you turn the faucet on. >> three weeks ago, she turned on her fossett with dismal results. >> it was first gritty, like city stuff, and then a bunch of air, and then that was it. >> the ability for people to come and get water here at the station. >> is select core member says they learned many people with

shelley now to the state's drug : crisis. tonight, new hampshire senator jeanne shaheen is calling on congress to pass emergency funding to help fight the war on opioids. >> if congress can spend billions to fight and ebola outbreak on a distant continent, surely we can allocate $600 billion to combat a raging epidemic right here at home if we stayed here and worked together to get this done. shelley senator shaheen says wh addiction and recovery act is good legislation it doesn't provide one cent to fight the epidemic and congress's failure to act is having having quote tragic consequences. tom tonight, the daughter of : musician ray charles teamed up to address developing the substance use disorder and mental health work forces. sheila raye charles joined a panel of experts over at southern new hampshire university. the event allowed current and potential students to meet with people working to help people with substance abuse or mental health issues. charles who was addicted to

tom new tonight, a break in the : arson that destroyed a florida mosque the islamic center was torched on september 11. shelley authorities have made an : arrest in the fire. abc's elizabeth hur has the latest. elizabeth investigators say they : caught their man, seen in these surveillance videos, setting fire to a florida mosque. >> an arrest made just 65 hours after the fire was reported. authorities thanking the public for their tips, and leading police to this arson suspect, identified as ea schreiber. >> charged with arson and florida's hate crime enhancement, orlando nightclub shooter, omar mateen used to attend this mosque, and worshippers say they had been concerned about their security since the massacre, then on the 15th anniversary of the september 11 attacks and the start of a muslim holiday, this, police now confirming the suspect shared his anti-islamic

the south carolina coast. >> i had a friend who rented a house north of charleston this week. bad timing. >> in more ways than one because sometimes these tropical systems come in and move out in a day or so. take a look at the satellite imagery -- stuck in place. a few miles there, you get the idea. it's not moving fast in any direction, and that means it stays dry across new hampshire. take a look at these photos out there in portsmouth today. a cold front approached, and that did trigger a few downpours. isolated thundershowers and then quickly, that moved off to the east. take a look at the stunning sunset in the queen city,

27:00 time frame. all of those clouds, by the way, highlighted by the sun setting, all on the backside of a cold front that has now cleared new hampshire and the rain with it. some spots picked up a little with it. many others did not, and is no more rain chance at least over the next three days of new hampshire. the air very drive. dew points 70 sometimes. they will be even lower tomorrow, and that will set the stage for the coldest night so far this year later tomorrow night or at least this season, i should say. upper 40's, lakes region, back through the upper valley monadnock region as well and in concord, it you low 50's in manchester and along the coast.

it will warm up just a bit back to slightly above the average as we go into friday, mainly the afternoon and on into the weekend, but no rain chances, as you can see. fair skies locked in all across the northeast. here is julia stuck in place. as we jump ahead into the weekend, that's when we will start to see our next rain chance later saturday night and again on sunday, but full sunshine, beautiful looking day tomorrow. it will be noticeably cooler in and along the coast line. tomorrow, only lower 70's while to the north it was in the upper 60's, and tomorrow, very close to that same temperature pattern. more sunshine on friday after that very chilly start. we will see temperatures bouncing back into the 70's in many spots. tomorrow, again, about 20

we just did not get all that warm in southern new hampshire. jumping ahead to friday, after a frosty start north, cool start everywhere else and over the weekend, warms up a little bit. upper 70's on average. full sunshine to about mid to late afternoon. scattered, -- showers, scattered thundershowers possible. then back to warm-up. an update on the trout for tomorrow. that comes in from the official drought monitor system and it is looking like the extreme drought hold on, so we really need some of those downpours sunday. we will see what happens. jamie: this was a huge game for

manage ben cherington is about to land on his feet the blue jays announced they have hired him as the vice president of baseball operations he will focus largely on player development. ben is from meriden new hampshire and went to lebanon hs. as the general manager, he led the red sox to the world series title in 2013, but left last year after dave dombrowski was hired as the president of baseball operations. in the american league east division, the red sox are being chased by the blue jays, yankees, and the orioles. the jays and yankees lost this afternoon, and the orioles were at fenway park so that meant a win tonight by boston would put some distance between them and the contenders. the orioles and red sox, just a big, big game. the major league leader in home runs gave the orioles an early lead mark trumbo with a solo shot 42nd of the year 1-0 baltimore he leads minnesota's brian dozier by one in the hr chase. porcello was excellent after that he strikes out chris davis and trumbo in the top of the 7th. he retired 17 straight batters at one point, but he would take
