police volume, definitely. seems like it has gotten a lot worse. it terrifies me, especially for people with children and, you know, we got a park down the street, you got kids riding their scooters. it's horrible what seems manchester is coming to. reporter: neighbors say sometimes they can't tell the difference any more between fireworks and shooting. anyoneit asked to contact manchester police department. for now we are live in manchester, wmur news 9. jamie: tonight more of new hampshire is officially dole with extreme drult almost all of hillsboro and part of cheshire county have joined the areas with the extreme drought designation.

officials say right now it's not a real problem. but if it continues into the winter, the more serious it could become. the director of the manchester water works says the water level at lake massabesic is down about a foot from where it should be, but is still nott a danger level. manchester's water supply services 160,000 customers in seven communities, so far they are only asking that customers voluntarily conserve water limiting t waring and washing cars. two boat launches have been closedded at massabesic because of the dry conditions, but officials say that's the only real impact the droughts that had in manchester so far. consumers, but again we ask all of our rate payers to conserve water. it's a valued resource, you should never waste waterny ways. reporter: state officia say
