let's go live to wmur's andy hershberger, who's at the allenstown police department with new details. andy: police say the suspect was armed with two knives when he entered the home and started stabbing the people inside. he faces 11 felony-level charges, five or first for allegedly stabbing three people last night. residence a little before 11:00. he stabbed the people inside left the scene. police say one of the victims is an ex-girlfriend of lennon's. police located lennon a short distance away hiding under a bed at his mobile home. police say they recovered the two knives and lennon was taken into custody. >> there was substantial injuries. one is civil condition in hospital, one was released last night.

condition in the hospital, one was released last night. andy:'s bill has been said $200,000 cash only. adam: right now, it's a normal day at alvirne high school, but it did not start out that way. rumors of a possible hit list raised concerns and spread quickly on social media. authorities determined that there was no validity to the threat but by then police say the situation had taken on a life of its own wmur's ray brewer is live in hudson, and ray, police had to divert resources to see if this was something serious. ray: the police chief told me that he sent officers to the school to assure parents that things were safe. and he stood out there with the principal to make sure that everyone knew there was no danger. >> early this morning the rumor mill really kicked up.

police say the rumors grew and spread quickly because of the power of social media. >> the information that was moved about wasn't completely accurate. ray: back in 2014 there was a student arrested, the 16-year-old had made a list with 5 students' names on it. that student was charged with criminal threatening. police say this situation was completely different. >> we exhausted all leads until we were able to prove that this threat was not credible and that the kids were safe to attend alvirne high school this difficulty getting through. >> this morning i was looking on facebook to try and see what to get a pulse of what our community was saying. >> i think a lot of people heard rumors or read rumors, or posted rumors that were simply not true . ray: so police posted their own message assuring the community that there was no danger to the students. the school district also posted a similar message. the police chief says he can understand parents being worried, but -- >> if there was a greater concern different actions would have been taken by the school

evidence in saturday's bombing in manhattan. surveillance video shows the pair walking away with a suitcase allegedly left behind on the street by bombing suspect ahmad rahami. police say the men removed the wire pressure cooker before taking the suitcase. authorities say the men are potential witnesses, not suspects, and that they are lucky they were not hurt. the gasoline pipeline that was shut down in alabama after a major leak is back open today after causing gas shortages after causing gas shortages across the south. partially shut down when a leak was discovered on september 9. the company estimates more than 250,000 gallons of gas leaked from the linke. -- leaked out. it will take several days for supply levels to return to normal. a new report out of louisiana alleges millions of dollars of recovery money from the bp oil
