quarterbacks, that's in sports. back to you. tom: thanks. the fourth annual new hampshire tackles hunger food drive is this weekend. jennifer: you can donate nonperishable food items at 15 high school football games across the state and more again tomorrow. cherise leclerc is live from nashua with how you can get involved. reporter: that's right. a lot of people are getting involved tonight, i want to show you the food that's been collected. minutes ago at 6:00, look at all this terrific food they've already gathered here. what's interesting about nashua north and nashua south is each of those schools actually have their own food pantry, so all of this wonderful food that's been so generously donated, that will go right back to those schools for students and their families to use, and they've had those for about six years now. but when new hampshire tackles hunger came about, they said this is a great boost for them,

developing right at the coastline, and there are some showers creeping in just over the border right now in southern parts of vermont and eastern new york state. it's along a cool front that's our main weather player between now and the start of the weekend. that front means a wind shift out of the north is already developing, driving in much cooler air. in terms of the chance of rain, as can you see, it's drying out across the north country, down into portions of the lakes region and upper valley. could be a couple of widely scattered light showers from altoay of this developing band of showers between now and about midnight tonight, mainly from concord and points south. so have the umbrella and the rain gear ready in case you get steadier rain for a couple of hours. temperatures will be the big story from here on out through the course of the weekend, already 50's and 60's. we end up in the 30's north, 40's south as we go into early tomorrow morning, a couple of very low 50's, right at the coast, and in places like
