officers involved. few details are being made public about what led up to a police officer involved shooting in claremont this past weekend. authorities say there was a 911 call to a residence on congress street where police encountered cody lafont. the 25-year-old was shot and killed by police. there were no other injuries. the attorney general's office is leading the investigation. >> the interviews of various witnesses is ongoing as well as physical evidence and any forensic evidence, so that is a early sunday morning and continues now. an autopsy is being conducted on mr. lafont, the young man who was killed. andy: assistant attorney general peter hinckley expects the results of that autopsy to be released either later today or tomorrow. court records show lafont had a relatively minor criminal history that included guilty pleas to charges of criminal trespass and resisting arrest. court documents also say he also had an outstanding charge of misuse of the 911 system for

times and it one point asking them for a ride to mcdonald's. officials say they don't know how long this shooting investigation will take. >> this case is no different than any other case where the attorney general's office is involved that starts early on and continuous for quite some time. it's not that we get all the information in a couple hours. sometimes it takes days and weeks to gather all the relevant and useful information, and this case is really no different. report on the shooting. officials say that could come as soon as about a month, or it could take much longer. reporting live in the newsroom, i andy hershberger. am wmur news 9. jennifer: tonight, manchester police investigating another report of shots fired. police say they found two 40-caliber shell casings on mack avenue saturday night. right now no arrests have been made. and there was no damage found to any nearby properties.

police say all 4 were found on gas pumps. two at the super petroleum on south broadway and another two wl at dusty's citgo on pelham road. police are not sure how long the devices were there. any customers should monitor their credit cards for any suspicious transactions. tom: now on to commitment 2016, ahead of tonight's debate donald trump's running mate, mike pence, held a rally in milford this afternoon where he said debate as much as everyone else. wmur political director josh mcelveen spoke with the governor about what he hopes to see tonight. josh: yes, tom, this is the fourth trip to new hampshire for pence since joining the trump ticket in july, and he told a decent sized crowd in milford this afternoon that the party is coming together at the right time. mr. pence: until very recently it seemed he was out there , fighting all on his own but now this party is coming together, this movement is coming together and we are going

mike: yes, and the meeting is still going on in the building behind me. the commissioners for the manchester board of water just agreed to issue a voluntary water restriction for outdoor use. this means for the city customers, which make up 160,000 people or 12% of the state population, officials are asking them to voluntarily restrict their outdoor water use. the levels at the lake are well below normal, and they are asking for customers to cooperate to protect the water supply now and through the winter season. >> i think we could be a leader in the sense that we could demonstrate that and really get the word out to the public that it is important to conserve water and not be wasteful of

new hampshire. merrimack valley to the coast, you notice, this is a little bit lower, around 60, similar temperatures in the higher terrain, as well. and similar up north. it will not be as nearly as cold overnight tonight, and the reason why, the cloud cover moving out of the southwest will cap any temperature falls. possibly in the across southern new hampshire, and then once we get into partial sun, behind this front, i tomorrow afternoon, we get into the clear air, and temperatures respond nicely. this is as we go into the afternoon and early part of the evening. following that, it does cool down. mid to upper 60's, 70, 73 elsewhere. that is during the afternoon stretch during the tampa start

very similar on thursday, as well, anywhere from around 60 to 63, with the most cloud cover for the next few days starting the closer you get to the coast line, so occasional showers due to a light wind onshore, and that means much cooler than the average on thursday, friday, and saturday. beyond that time frame, we have got more shower chances. 9:00 or 10:00, and then by wednesday, thursday, and friday, each of those three days features the brightest skies, northern and western new hampshire, limited sun elsewhere, and some showers cannot be ruled out but not a lot of steady rain. and then another chance of scattered showers, maybe some downpours, and you will notice that the coolest will be
