rainfall. ennead a ton. we're getting a little. kevin: a quarter to a third of an inch of rain. quick-moving front. you'll have some highways out, by late morning, a lot of areas into partial sunshine and what should be the warmest day of the entire stretch as we're looking at more unsettled weather to settle in. rain cooled there. clouds giving way to partial mid 50's to lower 70's. let's look at your morning drive. deb: good morning. emergency vehicles are on the scene of the crash. right now the right lane is closed. we are seeing delays on 93 and 293.

more information in just a few moments. on the everett turnpike, traffic is heavy and slow. if you are heading into boston, 93 southbound is a solid line. i'm deb davidson for 95.7 wzid. sean: as deb just talked about. there's a serious crash in manchester at the 93, 293 split with a lot of emergencyre erin: that crash also sparked a brush fire. ray brewer is live at the scene for us. ray, what can you tell us? ray: well, erin, i can tell you that the firefighters have now left the scene here at the 293, 93 north split. now the cause of all of this was a pickup truck that went off of the road and ended up crashing into the trees there. this was the scene just a little after 4:00 this morning.

and fully engulfed. now that sparked the brush fire. it took 15-20 minutes. now there's been no word on the driver of the pickup truck, his condition, or their condition i should say. the medical examiner was called to the scene here. as far as we know, firefighter have left the scene. they remain on the scene. the pickup truck is still in the words. live in manchester, ray brewer.

last month 3766-year-old john fenton turned himself into police yesterday. officers say the alleged assaults were first reported nearly three weeks ago and they happened at fenton's home. fenton is free on bail and is due in court in december. police say a manchester man stole a cooler out of a marked police cruiser. the cruiser was parked outside of usa chicken on elm street over the weekend while the officer checked the wisconsin. -- business. another officer noticed a man something out of the vehicle and leave the door partially open. still ahead, honoring local heros. the life-saving ageses recognized last night in concord. sean: the drought is affecting nearly everyone these days. the challenges now facing boat owners. erin: ahead in the next half an hour, the new efforts planned to make sure that the local water is safe to drink.

disgruntled. jury selection is underway in the hate crime trial. that's the man accused of killing nine black parishioners at a church in charleston, south carolina last year. about 3,000 potential juror haves been called in the case. the judge says testimony likely will not start until late november or early december. roof faces a total of 33 federal charges. his attorneys say he's willing to plead guilty if the death penalty is taken off of the table. sean: it appears disney company is looking to get into the social media game. bloomberg report that is disney is working on a bid. twitter is seeking a deal worth about $30 billion. disney owns abc and espn. microsoft is expected to make a bid. the washington monument will be closed. the national park

warmer. rainfall fairly protestive. it is attached to the upper level system. this is quick moving and should be to the east with the clouds clearing out, it is the upper level system through the great lakes that's going to slowly slide south and start bringing more moisture. there's a weak area of low pressure. that will continue to head northward other the next few days, promising more back edge across the connect river. roadways are wet. a couple of brief donatories are a possible here as this continues to slide through. for most, we're in the 50's. a little bit of patchy fog. running 15-20 plus degrees warmer than we were yesterday at the hour. you'll notice back to the west modified cooler

we aren't expecting any cold air. it will keep them up at night and cool during the day. there's a look at afternoon. good deal of sunshine. temperatures will jump from the mid 60's to lower 70's. you notice the clouds. could be a little bit of drizzle. those could be around early tomorrow. a hostl tomorrow. along with that, temperatures cooler in the low to mid 60's. a little jump in temperature for us today. notice as we go toward we'll continue to see the temperatures start to slide backward. along with it, i think we hang on to quite a few clouds. it will be a battle up from the north with moisture continuing to navigate over the next couple of days. it is going to mean some shower activity. we're not looking at inches of rainfall or anything that's going to completely break the drought.

between the 93 and 293 there in the middle. in the group of trees is where it came to rest. it was just after 4:00 we got word it was a week on fire. when we arrived at the scene, the pick yob truck was fully engulfed. we heard from a witness that the driver of the pickup truck was driving with his flashers on and road and nearly crashed two or three times. the state police cruiser tried to pull the driver over. the driver sped off. there's no word yet on whether or not the state police broke off their pursuit of the week prior to the accident. while there's been no official confirmation,

restriction. they are asking people to limit their outdoor water use. they supply manchester and several towns, severalling 12% of the state's population. water levels on the lake are well below normal. >> i've never seen it this low. it is astonishing and sad. >> it is not yet to the critical level. we understand the resource and the need to use water wisely. sean: mr. water works will keep it is not ruling out restrictions or bans if the drought conditions. erin: drought conditions about fire danger. according to the state division of forest and lands, outdoor fires are banned in at least nine communities. kensington is the latest to join the list. town officials say not only has the extreme drought lead to dangerously dry conditions, it is also drying up ponds that supply the fire department. >> this time of year they might be burning

64 to 74 from north to south. while that moves fast, the upper level system slowly dives south and continues to drag moisture up the east coast. there's a weak low off of the coast of the carolinas. we'll try to get scooped farther north. through the mid atlantic states, they will see heavy rain tomorrow. it is a matter of how quickly forit gets in our general direction. quick third of an inch. it will start to lighten over the next hour or two. morning giving way to sunshine. temperatures are in the 50's. remember this time yesterday we were in the 30's. we got into the 60's yesterday. we have faded overnight. a running start to the day for us temperature-wise. with increasing sunshine, we should be up between 64 in pittsburgh to as high as 74 in places like nashua later on this afternoon. this evening you'll notice the clouds continuing to dive southwest with more of the component to the wind.

to 55. patchy drizzle a possibility with the thickest of the clouds. that should wither away. still a lot of clouds lingering around. up north, a few break of sunshine. this is the reality going forward. not from that sort of flow, but from the south we'll be looking at the shower activity back out through pennsylvania and the mid atlantic states. battling that will be an area of low pressure up to the north which may keep things partly sunny in the north country. for southern clouds and scattered shower activity as it all continues to lift northward. i'm not thinking we're going to see beneficial rainfall out of this, two or three inches of rain, but certainly any sort of shower activity is welcome at this point. temperatures today mid 60's to lower range of the 70's this afternoon. certainly a bit milder than the last couple of days. you'll notice the lows in the upper 40's to mid 50's. highs in the low to mid
