josh j.: a tuesday that began with some rain, even some downpours and actually turned pretty nice this afternoon in most locations. let's take a look at where we stand at the moment with those temperatures in the upper 60's. winds lightly coming in out of the east, keeps us cooler near the coast, but gradually a little warmer farther inland. and take a look at the rain that we saw, not it a ton, but certainry everything is helpful this time of year and this time of drought that's going on. we have a good chance of adding more to these tallies, so hopefully we'll chip away at this drought over the next week or so. you can see these amounts here a little over a quarter inch in most parts of new hampshire this morning the clouds have been pulling

sunshine in most part of the state, still some clouds hovering around parts of southeastern new hampshire right now. but even there we've seen some sun. a look at that rain as it pulls on through, quick moving, so we cleared out afterwards quickly with just a few stray sprinkles that kind of stayed behind. but now we're seeing clearing skies for the nighttime hours, but the cloud bank up again as we go through the overnight and team. but this but this big upper revel low dropping down out of canada will be in our future. let's take a look at future cast and show you how it does so, it's one of these very low moving upper level spinning areas of low pressure. it just very slowly moves and that could be good news for our drought situation later this week and into the weekend. because it could sit over us for a little while, delivering oh off and on scattered showers. let's take a closer look at
5:19 pm
drizzle or sprinkles tonight and through the day tomorrow as well. in the afternoon there could be breaks of sunshine around, but certainly in the morning don't be surprised if you have drizzle at times. a lot dryer on thursday as we have a break in the action. only the slightest chance of a spot sprinkle in southern new hampshire on thursday. then we get into friday and things start to turn wet again from that low pressure that begins to bring in some rain from down south, during the day on friday and into friday or saturday, this weekend has as well. so the high temperatures today were in the 70's, but for tonight we're down into the 50's, some 40's to the north and west and look at the difference for tomorrow, it will be noticeably cooler, thanks to a northeast win coming in off the ocean, either side of 60 degrees. so a much cooler feel tomorrow, damp and a little more dreary as well, with the chance at least of some sprinkles or drizzle at times. there's your extended forecast and there's a lot of unsettled
