where we are in terms of the drought we have extreme conditions through most areas of southern and eastern new hampshire. not much better to the north. the good news is we have clouds spreading in right now although there is sunshine on the tiptop of north country. it is rain that is moving in the south and it will be moving in very slowly to the north. as ret o it to the border. there will be embedded downpours and it could really rain at times. by the time all is said and done , we can of one to two inches in the worst of the drought areas. it will not solve the drought but it could certainly help. josh: potentially very good news. now to that horrific train crash during rush hour in new jersey.

station in hoboken yesterday, killing one and injuring more than a hundred people. abc's stephanie ramos is in hoboken with more as the ntsb continues their investigation. >> i noticed that the train wasn't slowing down. so i got confused, but by the time i realized what had happened, we had already ran through the platform. stephanie: the horrific train crash happening so fast at one of new york city's busiest commuter hubs. >> we did have access to the locomotive. stephanie: ntsb investigators say they found one data recorder last night in the locomotive but are looking for a 2nd near the front of the train. as well as cameras. but it is hard to get to because part of the terminal's roof collapsed in the crash. >> people were running every way. stephanie: the most severely injured passengers were found in the first train car, many of them trapped, scrambling to get out any way they could. rahman perkins found the woman who lost her life when she was hit by flying debris. >> i just tried to comfort her as much as i can. i was like, miss, i'm not gonna leave you. i'm not gonna let you -- if you're gonna die, you're not
