delays possible in miami, boston, and new york. well now to a complicated murder case playing out in florida. >> over the weekend, police arrested a third person in this case. a woman they say has ties to the family of the victim's ex-wife and one of the alleged gunmen. investigators say she was involved in a long series of phone calls leading up to the killing and immediately afterward. abc's matt gutman has more. >> reporter: the woman suspected of playing a key role in the killing of florida state university law professor dan markel taken into custody. katherine magbanua is facing a first-degree murder charge. police say markel was gunned down in 2014 in his driveway as part of an elaborate murder for mire plot, orchestrated by the wealthy family of his ex-wife, wendi adelson. police say the 31-year-old

alleged triggerman and wendi adelson's family. and they say magbanua was the girlfriend of wendi's brother, charles. did she have anything to do with his murder? >> no. this morning, we have video of the moment a balloon show went wrong. this happened in the albuquerque balloon fiesta. one balloon drifts away and goes into a power line. the accident spark a flames and 1200 customers lost power. but luckily, no one was hurt. it was a close call over the weekend for families gathered at a car show in houston. watch as this mustang shelby spins out of control and just misses people on the street. panicked onlookers scrambled out of the way. parents tried to scoop up their children. organizers reminded the people that the monthly gathering is not a racing event. >> thank goodness for the

this is breaking overnight. kim kardashian is under police protection in paris after she was tied up and robbed early this morning. five masked gunmen then stole jewelry worth millions of dollars. hurricane matthew is closing in on haiti and jamaica. with sustained winds of around 145 miles per hour. forecasters say some areas of haiti could get up to 40 inches of rain, causing flooding and been whipped by the outer most rain bands. the storm is considered the most powerful hurricane to roll into the caribbean in nearly a decade. there will be mountain snow h and rain in the rockies and northern plains. sunny and warm across the center of the country. rain for florida and parts of the northeast. and finally, a motivational video that could get anyone heading in the right direction on a monday morning. it was shot, posted online as well by the mother of an 8-year-old girl.
