in hooksett is closed after utility poles and wires came crashing down. police say the road is closed from the bridge to where it meets west river road. they say wind caused a tree to fall which knocked down multiple utility poles. they say as the poles cracked powerlines swept across the road and hit a vehicle. a little while to get the poles fixed. there's two poles that snapped in half and they have to run a new line so however long that takes. erin: police say the people inside the car were not hurt just a little shaken-up. house speaker paul ryan says he will no longer defend trump and will focus the next 29 days keeping the house majority. hillary clinton and donald trump face-off for their second debate

of portsmouth at noon. we are learning now new details about a multi-vehicle accident on route 202 in henniker. state police say last night a rav 4 was driving around 100 miles-per-hour on route 202 when a chase began police say they lost sight of the car and the chase was called off. a short time later the rav 4 crashed into 4 other vehicles. police say the driver of the rav 4 was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. two other drivers were taken to the hospital and the other two were checked at the scene. just in to the newsroom one of the teens killed in a car crash in vermont over the weekend was a student at kimball union academy in meriden. they say janie cozzi was one of the 5 teenagers that died in the saturday night crash. police say 36-year-old steven burgoin was going the wrong way on 89 when he hit the car.

cruiser hitting seven more vehicles. rochester police have now made an arrest connected to an overdose death that happened back in june. 27-year-old ryan kirk is accused of suppying fentanyl to someone that died at the northgate apartment complex june 24. kirk was arrested yesterday after allegedly running from police. he's being held without bail. suspect detained syrian man accused of planning a bomb attack? plus, clean up efforts now underway following hurricane matthew. the big concern states are now facing. kevin: cooler air beginning to funnel in. we will have details ahead. erin: plus, in today's cook's corner we'll show you how easy it is to your own -- to make your own mail.
