fall weather. it has been gorgeous. kevin: temperatures in the 60's. eventually the fog will try to give away to some sunny breaks. temperatures are warm, mainly in the 40's. we will go through the day with sony breaks before the front arrives after 4:00 this afternoon, moving west to east through 8:00 p.m. with that, maybe half an hour or an hour of light on there comes a link to a shower and the front will cool us off for the weekend. in the granite state we are joined by debra davis and. deb: on interstate 93 northbound or southbound, no problems through the granite state. 293 is a good ride from the upper split to the lower split

roads traveling at the posted speed limit. from the wzid traffic network, im deb davidson. erin: a teacher at keene high school is facing charges this morning after police say she had drug items at the school and then tried to hide them from officers. sean: the school superintendent says parents have been notified of the situation involving 54-year-old diane delisle of westmoreland wmur's y to explain the charges and what police say they found. ray: other staff members at keene high school first notified police that they thought diane delisle might be using drugs . back in august, witnesses say they saw delisle with a cut off straw, a pill grinder, and a small bag of white powder while at the school. when officers showed up to speak with delisle and search her car, they say she texted someone else to have them remove her purse from her classroom before police could find it.

people and reviewed surveillance video, they issued an arrest warrant and delisle turned herself in yesterday. >> we are unaware of the situation involving one of our staff members at the high school -- we are aware of the situation involving one of our staff members at the high school. we have taken action to minimize disruptions. we are aware this is an ongoing investigation and will cooperate ray: delisle is charged with one count of falsifying physical evidence and is free on bail this morning. her status at keene high school is not clear. she is due back in court next month reporting in the studio, ray brewer, wmur news 9. erin: two veteran boston police officers are in the hospital this morning with critical, life-threatening injuries after what investigators call a domestic incident gone bad late last night. one of the officers was shot multiple times. the suspect was killed after a shootout with other officers. police say officers were responding to reports of a person with a gun in east boston

say the suspect was armed with an assault rifle and ballistic vest. no names have been released. a troy man accused of sexually assaulting a child over the course of five years is due in court today. 37-year-old frederick jason hodgman faces two felony sexual assault charges. police say the alleged assaults started in the year 2000 when the child was 10-years-old and hodgman was living in keene. he is being held without bail, and charges as the investigation continues. a henniker man is accused of pointing a gun at another driver during a road rage incident. 51-year-old chris bonollo is charged with criminal threatening with a firearm. state police say the incident happened back in august in hopkinton and that they found a 38 caliber ruger pistol in his car. bonollo was taken to the hospital for shoulder during his arrest. erin: new hampshire is on pace for a record number of drug

the republican nominee is facing new allegations of sexual assault this morning, though trump's campaign has dismissed the allegations. and clinton is facing more questions about a new batch of emails published by wikileaks abc's angelica spano reports. angelica: after the now infamous tape of donald trump making lewd comments about women came out, so have more allegations of unwanted sexual advances from incidents that allegedly happened years ago. >> it was a real shock when all of a sudden he started encroaching in my space, and i think he was like an octopus. he had 6 arms. angelica: jessica leeds tells the new york times she was groped by trump on a plane back in the 80's. she claims the gop nominee tried to put his hand up her skirt. rachel crooks also tells the paper that in 2005, while working at trump tower, trump kissed her on the cheek and on the mouth the first time she met him.

erin: the death toll in the u.s. from hurricane matthew has climbed to 35, with at least 20 of those in north carolina where many rivers are still rising. the record flooding prompted new evacuation orders yesterday for thousands of people, and officials are going door-to-door to get people out. tens of thousands of customers are still without power, and it could be another week before service is restored to everyone.

police were called and searched delisle's car, and she allegedly had someone remove her purse from her classroom before police could get to it. an ongoing investigation included more witness interviews and use of surveillance video. an arrest warrant was issued wednesday for delise, and she turned herself into police. school officials say parents were notified yesterday, but the school offered few details. >> we are aware of the situation lv action to minimize disruptions at the school. we are aware this is an ongoing police investigation and will fully cooperate as requested. ray: delisle was charged with one felony count of falsifying physical evidence. police saying she removed evidence from the scene with the purpose of disrupting their investigation. the superintendent would not say whether the teacher has been suspended, but when asked if the district offers help for employees alleged to have drug

division to assist all of our employees when they have any health concern. ray: delisle did turn herself in at the keene police station, and was released on $10,000 personal recognizance bail. her next court appearance is november 3. in the studio, ray brewer, wmur news 9. erin: this morning, police in the lakes region are searching for a person they say shot a woman in the head in belmont. arrest warrants have been issued for 42-year-old jason cuocolo for several charges that include police say he shot a woman in the head at a residence on arlene drive tuesday afternoon and drove off in a stolen car from the scene. police say the victim is at the hospital and is listed in critical condition. >> i would consider this individual armed and dangerous.

threat to the basic public or society in general. this was not a random act. this was committed by a person who knew his victim. erin: if you see cuocolo, police ask you not to approach him. instead, to call local or state police. sean: we now know what started a fire at an iconic casino complex in hampton beach yesterday morning. officials say the 3-alarm fire started after a beverage cooler's power cord short-circuited. it happened yesterday around 8:00 a.m. inside the purple urchin seaside cafe. it took crews an hour to p o in february 2010, a fire destroyed an entire block in hampton. fire chief jameson ayotte said that fire was in their minds as they responded to the flames. >> i was driving into work and i saw smoke from the building, from the roof over the purple urchin. >> thank goodness it was not jammed with people.

throughout the entire building, the damage was mostly contained to the restaurant and a few businesses below it. no one was in the building at the time. two firefighters did receive minor injuries. authorities have now released the name of the man found dead in a manchester park earlier this week. police say 44-year-old jeffrey williams of bedford was found at cullerot park on the westside tuesday by a man walking his dog. officials are still waiting on toxicology results to determine how the man died. erin: school has been de-frocked by the episcopal church as police investigate allegations against him in multiple states. former reverend howard white worked at st. paul's from 1967 to 1971. this summer, a graduate accused white of sex abuse, and an independent investigation in rhode island concluded that white abused children at a school there for several years. there are also allegations against him in north carolina.

a crime, but this week the pennsylvania diocese where he has been working announced that he has been removed from the priesthood. a new review of the division of children, youth and families is recommending increased staffing and tighter deadlines for the agency. the review started several months ago after governor maggie hassan called for changes in the wake of two child deaths. an independent group was hired to evaluate the agency. the findings so far include increasing the number of authorized positions, resolving the current backlog issue, and enforcing a strict sixty day assessments. >> with the terrible tragedies, we wanted to make sure that we had an outside review of our protective services for children. >> this is an opportunity to make sure that there is efficient staff to handle turnover, as well as to complete assessments in as timely of a manner as possible.

information will be used by the department of health and human services to help prepare their budget for next year. the final report should be completed by the end of november. sean: former congresswoman gabby giffords spent a day in the granite state yesterday. she appeared in portsmouth and in maine pushing for what she calls common sense changes to gun laws. giffords was shot at a constiuent event in arizona back in 2011. in new hampshire, giffords said it takes courage to fight for common sense solutions to gun control. >> courage. the courage to do what is right. the courage for new ideas. i have seen great courage when my life was on the line. now is the time to come together, be responsible. democrat, republican, everyone. sean: gifford's appearances were part of her 42-day, 14-state national bus tour.
