sex from a mother and her underage daughter. it turned out that the mother he thought he was emailing was an undercover federal agent. good afternoon. i'm sean mcdonald. right now donald malette is being held on $50,000 bail. we do want to warn you, some of the details may be distrubing to hear. wmur's ray brewer is live in hillsboro, where malette was just arraigned on two felony charges. good afternoon, ray. ray: good afternoon, sean. donald malatte is charwi physical evidence. prosecutors alleging he tried to destroy the once he learned an investigation was underway. >> everything about this case is disturbing, especially anything to do with minors. ray: with his brother sitting in the audience, donald malette was accused of trying to lure an underage girl and her mother to have sex. the investigation began back in june, when an agent with the department of homeland security was checking craigslist for

federal case the feds decided to let the locals handle it. >> based on their investigation they determined that federal charges would not be warranted because he did not travel to meet any juveniles. ray: the judge set bail at $50,000 cash and malette ordered to have no unsupervised contact with minors, including his own children. he is back in court on october 20 74 probable cause hearing. reporting live in hillsborough, ray brewer, wmur ns police at bay during an armed standoff in candia appeared in court today. 45-year-old deborah delongchamps was held without bail on three charges, including false imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child. police say it all started yesterday when they received a call for a distraught woman at a house on north road. when they got to the scene they learned a 12-year-old girl was also inside. soon after, they heard a gunshot and then saw the child run from the house. a swat team was called in before delongchamps surrendered without

president obama: welcome to the white house. and welcome to the final state dinner of my presidency. in the immortal words of a great italian-american, yogi berra, it ain't over till it's over. sean: yeah, you have heard those words before. president obama welcomed dozens of stars to the white house for the final state dinner of his presidency last night. the dinner honored italian prime minister matteo renzi. grammy award-winning pop singer gwen stefani performed and helped prepare dinner. the federal judge who was presiding over the el chapo case was gunned down while jogging monday. officials say he was shot in the head near his home outside of mexico city. the 37-year-old judge had been involved in a series of high profile cases, including the case of joaquin guzman. mexico's attorney general's office is now investigating. a faculty strike in pennsylvania

students out of class. faculty at pennsylvania's 14 state universities began the strike early this morning. it's the first in the system's 34-year history. an association representing faculty say this comes after five days of heated negotiations over wages. the state said students should report to their scheduled classes, unless their university says otherwise. meantime, according to a new report, students graduating from college in new hampshire have the highest debt in the country. the institue of college access and succesys undergrad in the u.s. graduates with just over $30,000 in debt. but here in new hampshire that number jumps to about $36,100, and more than three quarters of students graduate owing money, which is also the highest in the country. meantime, if you are a college student heading out today, you will see nice weather. kevin: a chance to study outside. warmer temperatures, but you know that is not going to last.
