upper valley. the drought holding on from concord parts south. that's where rainfall tallies are 30% to 50% below average. 11 inches below the norm. a little bit of rain has been moving through. a couple of isolated sprinkles. heaviest of the rain out to our . rain get in here if at all and how much could we see at the start of the weekend? shelley: the effects of our dry weather are becoming more severe, so now a state team is working to figure out how to figure out with the problems and prevent them from getting worse. some of the state's leading authorities on agriculture and

handle the state's expanding drought. >> we are at 8 or 9. reporter: this map tells the disturbing story. new hampshire's drought has intensified in the south and expanded up north. the lack of water has caused hundreds of wells to fail. and so many people who call companies have to wait weeks. >> of dollars if they have the money. if they don't, they have to make with offsite sources of water. reporter: they are asking communities to enact water bans. >> they fix the leaks in their toilets and repair faucets that are leaking. reporter: another big concern, the effect that the drought is having on farmers. farmers have to irrigate crops

identifying one of the suspects and finding a loaded gun and may have been adrenalin to follow the suspect and recover the gun. >> it was definitely overwhelming for a small town. reporter: this is surreal to suzanne morris and trailed one of the suspects accused of an armed break-in. >> i landed upon was located next to a common area in our beautiful neighborhood. reporter: she can't explain what compelled her to walk out of her home and follow a suspicious man and then confront him after snapping this photo of him. she found herself standing over a loaded gun.

d.c.y.f. allowed them to have time with their biological parents. despite the agency knowing about the parents. >> these horrific acts of sexual acts were 100% foreseeable and the two girls should not have been put back in the care. shelley: they pleaded guilto to 5 years to life. the department of health and human services said in a statement the department takes the need to ensure the safety of children and we called for an independent review. easter seals is named in the lawsuit because it was in charge of naming the visits and they are taking the visits seriously
