lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are raising concerns this morning about the $85.4 billion merger between a.t. and t and time warner saying it could raise anti-trust issues the deal was announced on saturday but federal regulators still have to sign off and several lawmakers say they want more information on how the merger would affect consumers the companies hope to close the deal by the end of next year. if you are hoping to visit the newest smithsonian museum you may want to postpone your trip to d.c. the national museum of african american history and culture is sold-out through march it is free to get in but you need a ticket with a date. the museum opened one month ago today and has been packed officials had expected about 7500 visitors a day but instead, they are welcoming nearly 30,000 on most days.

a tribute to 16-year-old jacob goulet is growing by the hour. friends sitting together consoling each other. and total strangers leaving flowers at the site where police believe goulet fell into a storm drain during torrential rain in nashua. >> i have kids, a 14 and 20-year-old, so as a parent i would hope somebody would care about my kid. >> i wouldn't want it to be one of my boys. that shouldn't happened. ray: one of jacob's friends says he saw jac h was walking home from a friend's house. >> anything sad, he would just like try to be happy about it or he'd try to make a joke of something just to get him by you know. >> it doesn't seem real to me that something like this could happen where i could be making jokes with him in second block of school and then a day later, he turns up missing. ray: the extensive search for jacob began on saturday, after

the accident happened shortly after midnight in middleborough. troopers say a vehicle was going the wrong-way when it slammed into another vehicle. at this time the victims' names are not being released. a rochester woman, charged in connection with a deadly overdose, is due in court today. police say 22-year-old nina batista provided fentanyl to a man who later died from an overdose. the 23-year-old victim was found dead last month at a home on osborne street in rochester. batista is scheduled to be arraigned today on one count of dispensing a controlled drug with death resulting. the dollar store in plymouth will be closed today after a car slammed into the building. police say no one was hurt when the car hit the store on tenney mountain highway yesterday but the building was damaged. the dollar store will remain closed until a structural engineer can assess the damage and repairs are made.

was hit by a car in londonderry is now speaking out. police say manuela garcia concepcion died friday night after she was hit on high range road. at the time she was crossing the street to get her mail. mark bickford, who is a merrimack firefighter, happened upon the accident with his family. he and several nurses on scene tried desperately to save concepcion's life. >> i did everything i could do, the people that were with me, we did everything we could do, londonderry police, londonderry fire, everybody put in a tremendous amount of effort to help your family member and i'm sorry it didn't turn out better but i just wanted you to know her last momen caring people. sean: police say the driver involved in the crash is cooperating with the investigation and no charges have been filed. in a little over two weeks voters will be heading to the polls to cast their ballots in the general election. as we get closer several new polls show democrat hillary clinton gaining over republican donald trump. nikole killion is in washington

showers later this afternoon. another system arriving on day with your forecast coming up. sean: the university of maine is mourning the death of a professor. the school says 50-year-old gordon hamilton died on saturday while conducting research in antarctica. he was riding a snowmobile when he hit a crevasse and fell one-hundred feet. hamilton was doing ice and glacier research for the national science foundation. he had been working at u-maine's an investigation is underway this morning into a deadly tour-bus accident in california. thirteen people were killed and 31 others injured when the bus rear-ended a semi-truck on a highway early yesterday morning. authorities say the impact was so strong that bus went about fifteen feet into the trailer. passengers told officials that most people were asleep when the crash happened. >> in almost 35 years i've never been to a crash where there has

so, it's tough, it's tough for all of us. fire department who handle it, chp personnel who handle it. it's not an easy thing, and you never get used to this kind of thing. sean: the ntsb is joining the investigation into what caused this crash. california state police say the bus had passed its 3 most recent inspections. a major financial mix-up is now taking a toll on thousands of california national guard huge enlistment bonuses a decade after they signed up to serve in iraq and afghanistan. >> i felt totally betrayed by my commanders. >> it's caused a lot of stress and anxiety on my entire family. >> if we could wave a magic wand and make it go away we would, but then we'd be breaking the law. sean: the california national guard was faced with a shortage of troops at the height of the two wars. when it offered bonuses of $15,000 or more for soldiers to re-enlist.

soldiers were overpaid. according to the l.a. times if soldiers refuse to pay. they could face interest charges have their wages garnished or even face tax liens. >> it certainly hurts the credibility going forward if we can't depend on the promises that were made to us when we volunteered to out our life on the line. sean: about 9700 current and retired soldiers received notices to repay some or all of their bonuses. if you suffer from migraines you'll want to listen up. a new study says those debilitating headaches may be caused by your food. the study found that migraines could be caused by high amounts of 'mouth bacteria' breaking down nitrates from food. experts say more research is needed to prove a correlation between the two. but if a solid link between mouth bacteria and migraines can be established, new treatments

turning now to sports. the patriots and the steelers met in pittsburgh yesterday for a showdown between two of the top teams in the conference. pittsburgh was without their quarterback ben rothliesberger. he's out for a few weeks after having knee surgery. the patriots scored first. tom brady dumped the screen pass off to james white and white ran 19 yards for the touchdown. in the third quarter the pats were up 14-13 when brady connected with rob gronkowski for a 36 yard touchdown. gronk tied the patriots touchdown record with his 68th career t.d. the patriots went on to win 27-16. >> great to win. sean: next up the pats take on the buffalo bills this sunday in new york. to the race tack now joey logano was able to hold off the field
