neither he nor his car have been located. this morning investigators say month's toyota was suspiciously parkedded on south road in belmont. while speaking with moon the officer realized he was a wanted man, but police won't say what he was wanted for. police say while the officer tried to take him interest custody, moon sped away. the officer fired multiple shots but it's unclear if moon was hit. that cop suffered minor injuries but was treated and is okay. >> he's not a specific dge typical be cautious, we always tell individuals if you do see him or know of his where abouts, do not make contact with him. notify your local police or state police. reporter: moon was last seen driving a gray 2007 toyota camry, new hampshire plate 393-8299 with extensive front end damage. the damage to moon's car

sped away. anyone with information is asked to call police. live in belmont, mike cronin. tom: new details tonight about a standoff at a hampton hotel where an officer was shot at. police arrived at the mary ann motel on ocean boulevard around 8:30 last night. as part of a burglary investigation. while searching a room, one officer went into the bathroom and was gone fronted by brayden burnham who pointed a gun at him and fired room they heard at least one other shot fired. after failed attempts to get him to come out, a robot was sent in and discovered his body. police say no officers fired their weapons during this encounter, and none were hurt. jennifer: the first sentencing today in the overdose death of a rochester teen. 17-year-old eve tarmey died from a fentanyl overdose. today the man who supplied her that drug was sent to federal prison.

words for mark ross today, saying he supplied deadly drugs to a child. and calling his actions sickening and depraved. federal prosecutors called the sentence immotioned on mark ross today significant, severe, but fair. ross was given 20 years in prison for providing a lethal dose of fentanyl to 17-year-old eve tarmey, who died in a rochester motel in october of last year. >> as we said in court, t a very sad and unfortunate case. mr. ross was in the lowest criminal history category, so though his first real jail time is going to be a 20 year sentence. reporter: as part of a plea bargain, ross admitted to traveling to massachusetts to purchase heroin, which in fact was fentanyl. prosecutors say back at the riverriera motel ross injected himself and the victim's mother jasmine rude, and then gave some

slumped over in the hotel room, you heard in court what he did, and eventually tried to revive her. but we can't say one way or the other whether any attempt to revive her at that point would have been successful. reporter: but the judge called ross' conduct despicable, pointing out that ross only tried to help tarmey after he threw syringes in the dumpster, deleted incriminating texts and called to yell at his drug deal. example of the opioid crisis facing the state. >> we have things to do, we have to provide treatment, counseling. but we also have to provide certain punishment for those people who are going to distribute this. and this case is an example of that. reporter: ruud and another defendant have pled guilty in connection with this case, they face sentencing hearings in december, and in january. i'm andy hershberger, wmur news 9. tom: onto commitment 2016

back in new hampshire trying to win the state that gave him his first primary victory. jennifer: but his visit comes as the f.b.i. says it is taking a look at new e-mails related to the investigation into hillary clinton's e-mail server. and donald trump had plenty to say about this development. political director josh mcelveen is here now with this. josh: trump was almost two hours late for what would have been a noontime rally, but the timing worked out for him members of the press start it buzzing about the news out of the washington on social media. but once trump did take to the stage he made sure everyone in the ballroom knew what the f.b.i. was doing. >> and they are reopening the case into her criminal and illegal conduct that threatens the security of the united states of america. reporter: it was news that sent a packed ballroom of trump supporters into a frenzy and

candidate to admit that in terms of his remarks there was nowhere to go but down. >> the rest of my speech is going to be so boring. reporter: he did manage to touch on the impending insurance rate hikes under obamacare and his core issue of immigration. but he kept coming back to the renewed investigation of his opponent even offering -- >> it might not be as rigged as i thought, right? right? of washington and his late arrival to new hampshire, trump still took part in a roundtable focused on new hampshire's crisis of addiction, promising members of the recovery community that as president he will stop the flow of drugs into the country saying at one point he is with them in this fight 1,000 percent. congressman guinta joined trump at the head of the table and says he understands how serious the problem is in new hampshire. >> he just committed to making sure, should he become the next president, he'll help every single person and every family

tom: she was spared from the slaughter house and finally tonight missy the pot bellied pig has a home. jennifer: it was 263 days ago that missy the figure was dropped off at the new hampshire spca in stratham. since then the some of her behavioral issues. now she enjoys walking on a leash and on hot days takes a dip in the kiddie pool. mike: that kiddie pool was outside today, started to fill up a little bit. take a look at this, though, snow up at elevation. the auto road on the way up mount washington, oh, a wintery scene. a reminder of where we are

of mount washington over a foot so far, and still snowing over 6,000 feet up. what about the rain tallies? take a look at this beneficial rain that did put a small dent in the drought over two inches in portsmouth, right around two in concord, just under that in rochester, about an inch and a half in laconia and lower in nashua, lebanon and manchester. but all good news here as that rain was steady, nice soaking into the ground, and a couple more light showers over the will fall out of this system, a lot of the energy off to our east. but there are lingering snow showers in the heart of the white mountains. any lingering shower over central and southern new hampshire will ten to fizzle out over the next hour or two. then it's mainly dry overnight, early tomorrow morning. quick moving system in the northern great lakes will dart towards northern new hampshire, so best shot of showers tomorrow, clearly say great

just deals with a couple of widely scattered showers for your saturday. again, here is the track on that next system, again a couple of showers maybe a downpour, white mountains points north during your saturday. notice how it stays mostly dry over southern new hampshire. speaking of which on sunday, best shot. an isolated shower will be over far southern zones, but looks like most of those will pass to our south for the second half of the weekend. as for the highs, we're back into the mid to upper 40's north and lower t tomorrow. mid 50's on average south on sunday. cooler north. sunny cool day on monday. mid 50's tuesday. and take a look at the spring-like temperatures heading in our direction for wednesday and on thursday. that's going to feel very nice compared to that breezy raw chilly stuff we had today. jennifer: yes indeed. mike: would love to see you play golf, i'm in for that.
