massachusetts. police say right after the child was hit last night, the driver got out of the car, talked to some people at the scene and then took off. somone followed her and police eventually tracked her down. one man says he was right behind the hit and run driver when the accident happened. >> the kid was so little that i don't think the car in front of me saw him run in front and the car went over the kid. shining forward i could see the kid underneath the car. erin: police say the child suffered a serious cut to his head and was taken to a boston hospital. there is no word yet if the driver will face any charges. sean: a woman in new york says she plans to take a casino to court after she thought she won nearly $43 million on a slot machine. the machine at resorts world casino showed that katrina bookman hit the jackpot. but the staff told her she actually didn't win anything. turns out the new york state

machine malfunctioned and bookman was only entitled to $2.25. she says the casino also offered her a free steak dinner. so close. erin: that isn't going to cut it, i don't think. an ohio man is on the mend this morning after being trapped in his crashed car for two days. a couple of highway workers spotted the wreckage in the woods when they were called to check out a dead deer. investigators say the driver missed a curve, hit a tree and landed in a ditch. when the workers first approached the car, they had not -- they had no idea someone was still inside. >> just kind of shock at first, then this kind of eerie feeling. you're not real for sure what you're walking up to. >> we went down to the car and i could see a foot out of the back window, and finally, we got him to respond and he had said he had been there for a couple of days. erin: the driver was alert when emergency crews arrived. he was flown to the hospital, but at this time there is no word on his condition.
