voters one more chance to hear from the candidates. good morning, ray. ray: good morning, aaron. -- erin. the first two debates feature those races you just mentioned, with all the undecided voters. the candidates for governor will be on stage tonight. with all those undecided voters, it means the candidates do have a lot of work to do, and these last few days will be very important. it also means the outcome is very difficult to pred the presidential race is actually adding to the indecision because there has , been so much attention on the race for the white house. many voters haven't put as much effort into learning about the local candidates. richard: i'm gonna wait until the very last minute, the last day. erin w: we haven't quite made up our minds yet, because we're still trying to do a bit of research. >> undecided voters at this point often tend to be people who are less involved in politics on a regular basis. they don't pay quite as close attention to it on a daily

involving her private server. abc's lana zak reports. lana: good morning. donald trump is hoping the fbi's investigation will propel him to a come-from-behind win. he is even taking on states like michigan, were even though he continues to trail in the poll, just a week ago seemed out of the realm of possibility. mr. trump: i think we hit the motherload. lana: donald trump, campaigning in michigan, sounded celebratory -- mr. trump: thank you, anthony. i never liked you, anthony. very much. lana: thanking anthony weiner for his role in an alledged sexting scandal with an underage girl. the computer he used, shared by his estranged wife huma abedin, one of clinton's closest aides. her emails found on this computer are what prompted the probe. clinton sounding defiant. mrs. clinton: there is no case here. lana: other democrats taking it even further. senator pat leahy, the ranking democrat on the judiciary committee, saying the justice department's response to their

disappointing and inadequate, and arguing that the timing of the fbi's announcement led to widespread confusion and unfair speculation. clinton's campaign manager, robbie mook, criticizes the fbi director for what he called a blatant double standard, arguing he would not bring forward information about the russian hacks because it was too close to the election. lana zak, abc news, washington. sean: a 17-year-old boy from central maine accused of killing his parents is due in co an autopsy is also scheduled for today to determine exactly how alice and antonio balcer died. their bodies were found at their home in the town of winthrop, maine early yesterday morning. their son was arrested a few hours later, and charged with two counts of murder. police in bedford are stepping up patrols due to what the chief calls an alarming trend. officers arrested five drivers for drunk driving in town in the span of just 28 hours over the weekend, including one driver

bedford are up 40% from a year ago. officer: that's an alarming increase here in town. as you know, we had two fatal motor vehicle accidents back-to-back on july 29 and july 30 this year in bedford. as a result, we instituted an intensive traffic enforcement program. sean: police are focusing more on identifying the signs of impaired driving, including inconsistent speed, weaving between the lines, or even failing to signal for turns. and officers are reminding designated driver or call someone for a ride if you have been drinking. erin: a federal judge says victims of a ponzi scheme in the western part of the state are owed nearly $23 million. prosecutors say aaron olson of rindge took the money from more than 80 investors. that was over the course of five years. he is currently serving five years behind bars for tax evasion, and has been ordered to start paying the money back

with lighter wind and sunshine. sean: kevin, thanks. an epping teenager is credited with saving his sister after running into a burning building to pull her to safety. erin: the fire broke out last week while julia hutchins was watching a movie with her three youngest children. they got out as soon as the smoke alarms went off, but that's when they realized that three-year-old melodi was missing. so 16-year-old brandon ran inside to look for his sister. brandon: could not see things were, and i did not have my glasses on. i had grabbed her, and i almost fell down the stairs, because the smoke got me really busy. erin: everyone is safe this morning, and firefighters were able to save the house. the hutchins hope to be able to move back in in about six months, after repairs are made. sean: wow. well, a lot of people pay a little extra money for a vanity license plate, but one driver in the middle east just shelled out $9 million.

least five others hurt after a pipeline exploded in alabama yesterday. investigators say an excavator hit the pipeline, igniting the gasoline, sending flames and smoke shooting high above the forest. as you can see. officials built a dam to contain the burning fuel while they wait for it to burn out. this happened just a mile from where the line burst back in september, leaking around 300 thousand gallons of gas. transit workers in philadelphia are officially on strike this morning, shutting down one of the largest public transportation systems in the country. the union announced the strike at midnight, when contract talks failed to produce a new deal. beyond financial issues, there are also concerns over schedules, break time, and driver fatigue. there are also concerns this morning that if a deal is not reached quickly, the strike could prevent some people from voting next week. erin: iraqi special forces have now fought their way inside the city limits of mosul in the latest assault to take control from isis.

voters could make a final decision as we kick off our granite state debates. ray brewer joins us live now at saint anselm college, where those debates are taking place. good morning, ray. ray: good morning, sean. if new hampshire voters haven't made a decision by now, analysts and by those numbers it appears that is the case, political analysts say they could go with the party they normally side with, or it could come down to just a gut feeling on election day. with pollsni today, voters are running out of time to make up their minds in some key races. richard: i'm gonna wait until the very last minute, the last day. erin w: we haven't quite made up our minds yet, because we're still trying to do a bit of research. ray: the latest wmur granite state poll shows a close race for senate here in new hampshire. democrat maggie hassan is leading republican kelly ayotte 44% to 43%. but among likely voters who were polled, 40% haven't made their final decision.

today at a construction site in bow where two workers were injured in an accident yesterday. the men were working at the new public safety complex project when a roof support came crashing down. town officials say the workers were installing wooden roof trusses when one buckled, bowed, and fell on them, knocking them to the ground. the men were taken to concord hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. >> one had a broken leg and mild concussion. a couple stitches and, um, he bruised his elbow. sean: osha is now investigating the accident. the construction project is set to be complete early next year. erin: a big change is coming to the lebanon police department. a private donor is footing a hefty bill to make sure the city's police officers are equipped with body cameras. the total cost is about $18 thousand for 10 body cameras and the necessary accessories, as

have 1%. as the election approaches, clinton is playing defense against a new e-mail inquiry while trunk tries to capitalize on it. nikole killion is live in washington this morning with the latest on the ongoing investigation. good morning. nikole: good morning. hillary clinton heads to florida today still trying to brush off the unwanted scrutiny. clinton addressed the new fbi probe in ohio in connection with her email server. saying, there is no case here. the justice department pledg began searching through thousands of emails belonging to clinton's longtime aide, huma abedin. the white house weighed in on the case for the first time, saying the president does not believe the fbi director is trying to influence the outcome of the election by publicizing the probe. meantime, donald trump continued to take aim at clinton over the controversy. however, today, he is going to make a slight pivot renewing his , criticism of the health care law in a speech today outside of philadelphia.
