people and that is just the beginning. wmur's ray brewer is live in the newsroom. ray: that arrest did not, until a couple of days after the original incident in the apartment building at 385 union street in manchester. when police arrested joseph he had three different drugs on him. marc joseph faces several felony began tuesday night. police say a woman, visiting friends at the apartment house told them she was looking for more beer. when she asked residents in joseph's apartment, that's when he allegedly held a gun to her throat. police say that joseph also threatened the woman's husband. >> "i will do you," meaning i will shoot you. ray: police responded and confiscated a 40 caliber handgun

was applied for and two days later, joseph was arrested. that arrest resulted in more charges. >> during that time it was found that he was also in possession of marijuana, crack cocaine and oxycodone pills. ray: police say they are still looking into whether or not joseph should have been able to possess that don. his bail was set at $10,000 and he is due back in court on the 17th. erin: thank you. you're taking a live look out at manchester. cooler air is making its way into the granite state. let's send it right over to meteorologist kevin skarupa for a look at the weekend as we get ready to turn back those clocks. kevin: the cooler air coming in on that northwesterly wind, gusting at times over 20 miles

rally supporters along with running mate mike pence at the snhu arena in manchester. our granite state debates wrap up tonight with second congressional district candidate sticking to the stage. democratic incumbent annie kuster looking to become the first three term democrat from the second congressional district in more than a century. while jim lawrence is hoping to bounce back after falling short in a run for the seat in 2014. poll showed kuster leading lawrence 45% to 31%. 22% said they were undecided. the debate begins at 7:00 tonight, live from saint anselm college in manchester. you can watch it right here on wmur as well as on our website and mobile app. the candidates in new hampshire's first congressional district got a chance to face off in last night's debate. incumbent republican congressman

erin: new details this noon in the fatal baltimore bus crash. officials now saying the school bus driver shouldn't have been behind the wheel at all. glenn chappell had his license suspended two months ago after pleading guilty to assault. chappell and five others were killed tuesday when the school bus he was driving crossed the center line, smashing into a commuter bus.

the university discovered a lewd scouting report about female athletes online. the university president said in a statement that an investigation into the 2012 team found that their "appalling" comments made about the women's soccer team continued through this season. the so called scouting report rated incoming freshmen on the women's soccer team, assigning a numerical score based on their appearance. >> it is important for the school to uphold their vs i definitely agree with the decision. >> i understand that it is something to be frowned upon but when you cancel an entire season you honestly entire academic body. erin: harvard's athletic director sent an email to student athletes, announcing that the university will forfeit its remaining games. the soccer team is currently in first place in the ivy league. members of the women's soccer team published their own op-ed in the school newspaper, saying

their way through. a little bit brighter in littleton. i expect we will see the clouds wither away as the dryer air works its way through. scattered snow showers in the white mountain. we will start to see other clouds make their way in from the north and west and what this will do is continue to turn -- reinforce the air mass that we will have in place all the way through the weekend and early next week. for the time being, not much in the way of precipitation, just a little bit of activity in the higher terrain and the great north woods. we are not expecting widespread showers this afternoon. temperatures are struggles -- struggling to get above 50.

that will add more tomorrow before starting to kick back up again on sunday. there is that cooler air mass in each disturbance riding along that temperature difference will reinforce the cooler air mass coming out of canada that will be around through monday afternoon or evening. we continue to see fair skies, clouds up north wither away, and here comes that next disturbance to our n a and central and southern areas, there may be a couple of hours as the showers try to hold together as they come through. after that we go back to partial sunshine. temperatures warm into the low 40's in part of the north country. by sunday afternoon we are back to the fair skies which will continue into sunday night and

dropping back into the 20's to near 30 degrees. a ridge of high pressure starts to slowly move in our direction after a cooler weekend and it could mean temperatures near 64 election day. we are talking temperatures this afternoon in the 40's and 50's. the breeze out of the northwest starts to lighten. snow showers up north where the snow showers up north where the next shower and central are north through sunday before we get the sunshine back. a fairly dry pattern, just a couple of showers here and there. erin: the new hampshire liquor commission will be holding a distiller showcase on thursday and it benefits the animal rescue league.
