i'm shelley walcott. most polls open in just tonight, seven hours. we have live team coverage across the state, focusing on all the big races. the one at the top, the historic battle for the white house. democrat hillary clinton and republican donald trump are still on the campaign trail right now. the republican presidential nominee packed the s&h university tom: adam sexton live in manchester where he joins us now. adam: this was about as big a political event can get in new hampshire. donald trump had bigger news to deliver when he announced two high-profile endorsements.

right here in new hampshire. dixville notch is one of the towns setting the stage for the u.s. tonight. wmur's siobhan lopez is live there with more. siobhan: an hour from now, all of the ballots will have been cast in more likely than not we will have our results for dixville notch is the whole process takes just a couple of minutes. i will give you a look at where this is going to happen. the voters will drop them in a voters. six are expected to vote in person while a seventh submitted an absentee. there are three republicans and three independents voting here. with the hotel close for renovations, this event has gotten smaller as the population goes down. even though it may be small, they are setting a good example for the rest of the state in the country. >> but we really try to do here

their pick for governor. tom: democrat colin van ostern and republican chris sununu spent the day campaigning trying win people over, who have still not made up their minds. shelley: wmur's kristen carosa is live from the state house in concord with the race for the corner office. kristen: we caught up the candidates in nashua at a rotary club meeting. both are trying to get as much support as they possibly can and they are focused on the undecided voter. the candidates for governor had a long day on the campaign t before election day. >> we have been doing a lot of door to door, talking to people one on one over the last week or so. the energy is there. the turnout will be strong. >> i think a lot of people in new hampshire are excited to get out and vote. kristen: democrat colin van ostern has been an executive counselor since he says his goal

voters head to the poll tomorrow. wmur's mike cronin is live in district two in nashua with more on those races. mike: on the eve of the election, congressional candidates from the first district and here in the second district are trying to talk to as many voters as they can. republican jim lawrence served three terms as a state representative. now he wants to serve new hampshire in the second congressional district. he says new leadership is need >> the message i've been spreading of getting our economy moving forward, dealing with our national debt and improving our foreign policy and defense posture to keep us safe from terrorism around the world. mike: democratic representative annie kuster is running for re-election for the seat she's held since speaking at tonight's 2013. rally with president obama at unh, she says this election is about the next generation. >> about our future, about the children, about the seniors,

students, then stand with me and vote tomorrow. mike: also at that event, democrat carol shea-porter who is trying to reclaim the first congressional seat, which she held off and on for six years. she says she has the experience to lead the granite state again and asks people to vote blue. >> to move this country forward, so in new hampshire we need you , to make sure that you vote for all of the democrats on the ticket. we have a shared vision. mike: incumbent republican frank guinta has held the first c.d. c4 two of the last three terms. he says his backround and ability to work with both parties are part of what make him qualified. >> i'm very passionate about this job. i think people know the conviction that i bring to it. but the reality is i've been able to deliver in a way that others haven't. mike: independent shawn o'connor says it's time for a new direction. this is the business executive's first time running for elected office.

the state as their builds and from the west. with any son, we will be well above the average. overnight tonight it is quite cold. upper 20's and lower 30's. in the next few hours we drop five or six degrees. temperatures are worn to the west. they will build in over the next few days tomorrow. developing as we go into wednesday do to the fact that we will not have much sun. full sunshine for election day. son up, sundown, no clouds out there whatsoever and temperatures running nice and mild. as for wednesday, a couple of widely scattered sprinkles. very low precipitation expected.
