shelley: last week, 40% of voters were trying to decide on tom: democrat colin van ostern and republican chris sununu spent the day campaigning trying win people over, who have still not made up their minds. shelley: wmur's kristen carosa is live from the state house in concord with the race for the corner office. kristen: we caught up the candidates in nashua at a rotary club meeting. both are trying to get as much support as they possibly can and they are focused on the undecided voter. the candidates for governor had a long day on the campaign trail .

door to door, talking to people one on one over the last week or so. the energy is there. the turnout will be strong. >> i think a lot of people in new hampshire are excited to get out and vote. kristen: democrat colin van ostern has been an executive counselor since he says his goal 2012. is to move the state forward. >> i am working very hard and i give me the honor of serving as governor, i always will put people ahead of political interests. kristen: his opponent, republican chris sununu is , serving his third term as executive counselor. he's also the ceo of waterville valley. he says he believes it's time for a change. >> it's about what kind of governor want. do we want a paid political

divisive partisanship? or do we want someone who will come to the table every time regardless of political background? kristen: both candidates say they are feeling confident going into the election tomorrow and are anxiously awaiting the results. kristen carosa, wmur news 9. shelley: continuing our commitment 2016 coverage with new hampshire's congressional races. candidates are making a final push in their districts before wmur's mike cronin is live in district two in nashua with more on those races. mike: on the eve of the election, congressional candidates from the first district and here in the second district are trying to talk to as many voters as they can. republican jim lawrence served three terms as a state representative. now he wants to serve new hampshire in the second congressional district. he says new leadership is needed. >> the message i've been

national debt and improving our foreign policy and defense posture to keep us safe from terrorism around the world. mike: democratic representative annie kuster is running for re-election for the seat she's held since speaking at tonight's 2013. rally with president obama at unh, she says this election is about the next generation. >> about our future, about the children, about the seniors, about the veterans, about the students, then stand with me and vote tomorrow. mike: also at that event, democrat carol shea-porter who is trying to reclaim the first congressional seat, which she held off and on for six years. she says she has the experience to lead the granite state again and asks people to vote blue. >> to move this country forward, so in new hampshire we need you , to make sure that you vote for all of the democrats on the ticket. we have a shared vision. mike: incumbent republican frank

by this afternoon, back to the average. 52 degrees the official high at concord. that is right at the average. the record high set in 1938. a chilly low. we started off at 24 degrees. just above freezing in manchester. everyone else at or below freezing, except the top mount washington, the warmest spot in from the west. with any son, we will be well above the average. overnight tonight it is quite cold. upper 20's and lower 30's. in the next few hours we drop five or six degrees. temperatures are worn to the west. they will build in over the next

croydon home are being rehabilitated. tom: the dogs range in age from three weeks to much older and many are extremely malnourished. it could take weeks before any of the dogs are well enough to be adopted. they >> do need a of medical attention. >> several of them have never logical issues. they are fair -- have neurological issues. they are very wobbly. there is one that is blind. tom: work. it could take weeks before the dogs are put up for adoption. i am sure there will be a lot of good families. shelley: beautiful day for election day. mike: you could not ask for much better. temperatures 10 degrees above average. it is coldest friday night into saturday night before temperatures get back to the average. could not be better
